I don't see how it could be since the Sales Reps won't get their samples until after the Sales meeting in late July. Expect them to be available about the same time the 735's were, Labor Day.

I spoke with the Tity rep this morning and i was hesitent to ask about the 585 and the 906 because everyone has said they are really hush hush. There were two guys, the rep and the fitter today and i first asked the fitter and he said "i cant tell you anything", i sort of hesitated and said "your sure?" and he then proceded to mention one word "AUGUST". When the rep came back to the launch monitor the fitter said "he wants to know about the 585" and the rep proceded to give me the entire run down. He told me that it will be out mid July with limited shafts (im sure aldila and steel like always). He said that he has one and its awsome. He also said that the 906f will be launced then aswell. He said the retail in the 906f only and not sure if there will be a 906f2 like we have seen. Also said that it will only come in the stock titleist color like the 905r. I am sure that they have scheduled the launch date already if the headcovers are leaking out and hopefully it will be mid July and they will launch the 585h, 906f, 755, and the Xperimental c-5. Looks like July is gonna be a tough month for my pocket book, Better play my club dues in advance.

In the psychological gamesmanship that is so crucial in golf, showing up with the 906pt and the xperimental c-5 and the 585H is like bringing a platinum-covered bazooka to a knife fight. BABBBAAAYYYY!

The C-5 is going to be released under a different name "Detour" I don't know if they will have a funky spelling or not. The story behind it is that there is alot of construction around Scottys studio and he was trying to figure out a new name for the putter, and my Tity rep told me it was going to be "Detour"

i can't wait for the c-5 putter to show up. would you know if there is a center shafted version ... i think i've seen one before (maybe it's my over-zealous imagination).

906 looks luvverly...it is also good to see that the C5 was turned over to high school students to assemble, it's good of Scotty to put something back into the community projects. Looks like something I would have done, oh well they say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder...I will be giving it a detour whatever they call it...now the 906 is a different matter entirely and about time too !!! :D
