Go ahead and buy it - great club with that forged Mizuno feel. Have a 17 CLK with a TT DG Lite S300 stock shaft in it and alternate it with the the Fli-Hi II 18 degree with the same shaft (prefer the iron shaped head for tee shots and CLK for of the fairway). When I use the CLK I generally take my 3 wood out of the bag as I don't really need it. A guy I play with uses the 20 degree CLK and swears by it as a combo 7 wood / 3 iron.

I had a 20 and 23 - they are probably the longest hybrids I've played (and I've played lots of them over 4 years).

 

The stock shaft kept them low - which is probably why you find a lot of reshafts with this stick.

 

I didn't care for the heavy feel - I'm more of a light, crisp guy - but if you like them, and want to stay low in the wind, this is the club.

I tried a 17 degree and really liked it, if they made a 14 degree I'd probably own one. Regarding draw bias I did find it pretty easy to hit draws with (my preferred shot shape), to my eye it seemed to have either a bit of offset or it was slightly closed which makes drawing the ball easier. The one I tried had the stock Exsar shaft and as Swingman mentioned for me it played on a fairly low trajectory compared to other graphite shafted hybrids that I've tried.

I prefer the Ping G5 hybrids by a large margin. The Mizuno just didn't "click" for me. ;)

Agreed with the draw bias, I had a hard time fading mine. Also, didn't hit it high enough as I would like, instead of fiddling with shafts I got a 18.5 Nickent...

I have 17 and 20 degree. Love it!!! Hit my 17 degree almost as long as my 3 wood.

I like my 17*. It does fly lower than my 16* TM rescue. I am inclined to think it is the Exsar shaft. I would like a slightly higher trajectory. Any shaft recommendations? I don't want a really high trajectory. Just mid. Would the irod hybrid shaft do the trick?
