What should I be looking for snap hook issue...

I need some advice on where to start. I fight a snap hook with my driver, I am pretty sure that this isn't a swing error. Lots of good instructors say that my swing is solid... So I am thinking shaft.. For the most part my irons are like darts and my FW wood is a really slight high fade, but the mizuno f-50 is set up about 1* open, which is what i wanted.

I am 6'4" and strong, I think that I play like more of a hitter than a swinger, I am good for about a 105 to 110 swing speed and I am usually better than 300yds when the ball comes to rest. I tend to play a little draw but when I really get after it I hook it..

My thoughts on my swing are like this... I tend to take a big back swing and my swing speed comes on fast at the top. I guess I am trying to say that I don't build up swing speed evenly through the swing, I tend to fire right from the top. I am told that I am a handsy player and typically play with a big release.

I like to play 10.5 deg drivers, they seem to give me more control and seriously distance is not my issue. When I really go for it, I can go 335+ all day long so I would really like to stick with that. I would like it to baloon a bit less at the end if that's possible. After setting myself on 10.5 I have tried the following with pretty much the same results.

905r with a v2

r7 quad with a GD ys-6+

hibore with stiff stock shaft

r5 with stiff stock shaft

R7 425 Speeder 757 stiff (this one was the worst)

Currently in my bag I have a Callaway ft-3 Draw with a Aldila NV 65-S and it has been the best so far but I am still not totally happy with the results. The thing goes a mile but i still fight the snap hooks once and a while.. My launch monitor results with this one are 3350rpm to 3600rpm and 12* to 13.5* launch is about the average.

I have a titleist 905s with a GD ys-6 and a Bridgestone J33 460 with a Accra T60 M4 on the way from lucky deals on eBay that I look forward to hitting. Honestly I am hoping that the J33 is all that I hear it is.

I would really love a suggestion of a shaft to utilize in one of my available heads. the ft-3, 905s, or the j33..

Thanks!

I think more importantly than a specific brand to go with, is there something that is consistant about the shafts that I have used that would be the underlying factor in my snap hooks, or is there something that I might want to be looking at as a quality of shafts that would be less likely to have this issue....

I play the same driver and used the stock NVS 65 shaft in it for half a season. I know what your talking about, the thing hit absolute bombs. However, occasionally that face would swing shut like a mofo and I'd snap one way left. I came to the conclusion that the tip of the NVS (the NV isn't that much different) was too soft and the face kept closing on me when I really went after it. I've since switched to the V2 (lower torque) and have had no issues whatsoever. Just a thought.
