Sasquatch Tour w/Diamana 83x

Too low launch angle
Ive just recently got a sasquatch tour 8.5 degree w/diamana 83x shaft. my ball speed is 175-178. Ive played the v2 in my old 410 ignite 76x and it was good. i just wanted to get the "best of the best" in shafts.Im launching it at 10.7-11.2 degree all the time....too low. On the vector if i launch it at 14-16 degrees w/the same spin i go from 309-316, to a incrediable 326-333. i cant keep spending all this money on these shafts. Other shafts i have are the penley eta tour x, accuflex vs 339 74x, and the v2 76x, whats going to give me that launch angle without putting a whole in my pocket.

of the shafts you listed i would say the v2 is the best bargin, but you will probably need to get it tipped to keep the spin down since it is a softer tip than the diamana 83.

What is the spinrate and swing speed when you are on the monitor?

14-16* w/ a ball speed 175-178mph would not be an ideal # IMO, however it would be depending on your skill/handicap.

This is a classic misconception about fitting and got to cought up w/ LM numbers. Ideal numbers are not the same for every one. Lot's of factors need to be considered & calculated before making any conclusion.

I couldn't agree more......launch monitor numbers are nice, but the real deal is when you are playing on the course. For me I don't want 14-15 degrees. I typically play in firmer conditions and find the launch monitors are not accurate at all. I can gain alot more yardage by maximizing my roll which means decreasing my launch angle a few degrees. Make sure you try it on the course and see what you're results are.

thanks guys.

Well i found the best combo. Sasquatch Tour w/v2 76x tipped 1 inch. i had this in my ignite head 410, but just wanted to upgrade heads...anyways. i hit some serious numbers today with accuracy. Par 5 7th hole at my home course is 500 yrds. short but tight. so i thought i'll tee it up high and try for eagle. so i hit my ball to exaclty 139 sprinkler, like i pombled it. hit a pw....liped out, made my 1 foot eagle putt. next par 5 13th 521 slightly downhill requires right to left shot (righty) i hit the best driver of my life right in the middle of the fairway w/133 left to the hole,,,,thants right do the math 388!!! s*** is crazy. liped out again for abaltaros, had a i foot putt for eagle. and the ball im using is the new 2006 nike black, sooooo much better than the pro vx.

before this round i used it on the vector. my numbers went from 173-175 ball speed, w/11.7 launch, to 179-181 ball speed w/13.5 launch angle and 250 sidespin, i play a little cut usually. ive never hit this numbers before, for the one guy asking for handicap im a +1 19 years of age, but i think with this new distance gain with accuracy i can get deeper in the red....

thanks guys for all the help.
