Rifle 5.0's vs Nippon's

I currently play a set of MP32's with Rifle 5.0's. Am considering a new set of MP32's (I am not a fan of the 60's--have two sets) and am thinking about Nippon 950's. Recognizing that it is difficult to compare shafts I would like some input on the 950's. I would not mind a slightly softer shaft but need some shock absorbtion. Any information in regards to this comparison or comparison with any Nippon shaft would be much appreciated.

I don't know if this is exactly what you are looking for but I have used both the NS PRO 950 GH and currently the Rifle Project X 5.0. Weight wise, the 950 is noticeably lighter. My experience with them is that they have a higher trajectory than the PX but they don't balloon either. The 950's felt like they absorb more of the vibration on mishits. The PX has good absorption qualities but I prefer the 950. Distance would depend on how you launch your shots and your type of swing (smooth or aggressive). The 950's favor a more tempoed swing In my experience, the PX's were longer but not by much. The stiff designation on the 950 is more between firm and stiff. In the case of the PX, the 5.0 (regular) is more like a firm-stiff flex. I don't tire as much using the 950's even when I spend a lot of time hitting balls as I do with the PX. These are my experiences with them. Hope it helps.
