Safe way to remove tee marks for sole of driver?

I'm trying to get some tee marks off the sole of a driver I want to sell. I've tried water, soap, etc, and none of it works... I just don't want to risk ruiding the paint on the sole either. Are there any easy rememdies?

I use a plastic bristle scrub brush with soft bristles. Warm water, soap and a little elbow grease and they will come off without taking off the paint!

i have read some on here use magic eraser but I have not tried it myself

I was cleaning my driver today and used a little bit of simple green on a towel. I've done this many times with no damage to the paint on the club. Works pretty well too, takes a little bit of scrubbing but it does come off.

Dude, MAGIC ERASER! Works like magic! It will even remove paint marks off of your bumper. Oh and you can spray a lil goo gone on there if need be but the magic eraser works with water only.

Have you tried using the same solvent you would use to put on new grips? Any tee markes I've had, whether it's plastic or colored wooden tees, the marks comes right off. The solvent won't take the original paint off either.

Use a toothbrush, liquid soap (such as dial, softsoap), and warm water. Works for me always.

Old toothbrush and Ajax. Run under hot water and shazzam. Gone.

A traditional toothpaste like Colgate or Gleem works well. I mean the white stuff, not gel.

rubbing alcohol on a paper towel, then wipe off with some water, have never harmed the finish

you guys all missed the easiest one a lil play sand under about 4 inches of water in a bucket my club keeps one next to the range just rub on the sand quick swirl on the way up clean and sand free

you're probably going to hit off tees again later, meaning you'll just have to re-do any work you do right now

I bought a used ping g400. It had some annoying and significant white tee marks on the bottom. I tried soap, water and even cola. Nothing worked. I was particularly concerned because the g400 has a unique matte black finish and I didn’t know how delicate it would be. I finally used a magic eraser and the marks came right off and didn’t damage the matte finish at all! Also, just don’t use painted tees!

This is an old caddy trick that I've learned somewhere along the way, but if you wet a towel and use the tag/label of the towel, it usually gets these marks off right away. Magic eraser works as well, but I don't always have them at home

That's what I do and have so for a very long time.  Rubbing alcohol also evaporates quickly so the chances of damage are very slim to none.

Magic eraser will take pen marks off a golf ball without damage to the cover, so you would be fine on the sole of a club.  Those things really are magic.

Yup they are great for a lot of applications. Cleaning my  white golf shoes does wonders too.

You are right, those things work wonders on shoes too.  I’ve cleaned my shoes with them too.
