Titleist Fairways

Hi I live in England and I want a Titlesit fairway wood with the UST Proforce V2 85g Stiff Shaft. These are not available here yet. Does anyone know where i could get hold of one of these?

you could pick up anyone of them, minus the 906f on ebay i'd suppose

Phil try your local pga pro who is a titleist stockist , i also live in England and have a 904f with the shaft you want . its a custom order from titleist you can get what ever shaft you want , within reason from them direct

Im a PGA assistant here in the UK and i tried ordering a 904 with a V2 shaft in but they refused saying it wasnt a custom option. They said the only way to get that shaft in a 904 was to buy the club with a stock shaft and then re-shaft myself with a V2.

A possible solution, unless you've already tested the V2 and are deadset on using that shaft, might be to see if you could find a comparable shaft type from one of the manufacturers that have their shafts as custom options. Again, if you've already gone this route, then your only options might be to either buy it new with stock shaft and then reshaft, try ebay, or maybe even the used clubs from Golfsmith Europe

1st ever post. Here goes!

 

Am pretty sure that Titleist use fairway length shafts only in their fairway woods, unlike other manufacturers who might tip driver length shafts. The V2 is at present only available in a driver length through Titleist, hence it wouldn't be available in their fairways.

 

You could look at fitting one yourself but you'd have to experiment with the tip trimming and see how it goes in terms of performance. I think that Titleist still offer the original Proforce fairway in their 904F, so maybe that would be a suitable alternative for you or maybe wait a little and see whether Titleist add a V2 fairway shaft to their options list.

The 85g shaft is only available from a UST tour shop I believe... Going to have to find one of those too, Joe Kwok!

I will be going for a vacation strating the 7th and will be back july3rd. I have no problem getting the shaft, but can we do it after i get back in town?
