Ok I have a Scotty question

I just got back from my local golf shop and I bought a used Scotty Cameron putter. Now I know absolutely nothing about Scotty Cameron putters. Im trying to find out what the original grip looks like that way I can replace it with the original grip and get rid of the red white and blue USA grip that is on it. Anyway the putter is a Scotty Cameron Newport Mid Slant Pro Platinum and looks to be about 34" in length. The headcover is the grey with red crown on it with grey writing. He had two headcovers the other being all grey including the writing and gave me my choice of the two.

 

Also wondering if I got a good deal? I paid $100.00 for it and there isnt a scratch on it only thing is the grip has been changed. So whats the original grip?

 

Also my model doesnt have the Specs stamed on the heel like others I have seen.

No, $100 is not overpriced. You did good. I think the all grey headcover is more rare, but I'm not really sure. I remember something about it though.

Yeah you should have gotten the all gray headcover. Way rarer than the red stitching one. Still great pickup.

Yes, all Grey is definitly harder to come across then the red/grey.

good pick up but only one thing missing.... this model only come in 35".

34" should be a little short for 330 grams head and the swing weight might be off. You can not get the original grip to put it on because the original grip is heavy thus, it would make swing weight around C8. You will want to get it to D3-D5

You picked up a great putter, and yes the all grey cover is rare, just ask the guy to give you the other one so that you don't use the rare one. Also 07 Camry is an awesome car, well built, smooth and sleek looking. Have fun with your putter!!!
