Best place to get a club refinished??

r510 TP driver

Hello everyone,

I just picked up an r510 TP from callawaygolfpreowned. I can't believe I haven't had this thing in the bag for the last 5 or 6 years!!! It is amazing! I found going back to the smaller head actually made me focus more and hit the ball better than the 460cc drivers, and the sound is sooooo much better!

The condition was "average" and it only has cosmetic damage, basically just a bunch of paint chips. If I get this thing refinished it will be just like new again! So, I was just wondering if you guys had any recommendations on where to get this done, especially around Birmingham/Nashville area. If I have to ship it though, that's fine too. Does Golfsmith do this type of work??

Its not in your area but i had a driver refinished at the The Golf Club Hospital in Minneapolis MN. They do excellent work and they are very reasonably priced as well. Turnaround time is about 2 weeks on a complete refinish if you google the company there is a website.

CarolinaGolf, which is now known as ContinentalGolf (http://www.continentalgolf.net) has gotten some good reviews on here before. They are also an authorized TM refinisher and IIRC they can refinish with the TP flags on the toe.

I had that same driver refinished by Continental Golf and their work for extraordinary. Been a couple of years, but only cost $45 too. Well worth it for me.
