an out-to-in swing path?

Recently I have been hitting high slices off of the tee. Really killing me. I can see the tee marks on the bottom of the driver. I am swinging outside-to-in, and are there any good drills or tips to prevent this?

stick a glove or a towel underneath your left armpit if right handed or left armpit if lefthanded, use a short iron -8iron, and start hitting balls, try not to let towel or glove fall out during any part of the swing, that should help you get back on plane, or stick a tee in the ground just outside if the head and don't hit the tee.(less damage to head if you hit it), 30-40 reps, then try without. does the ball start out right then goes further right also?, check alignment, and you may not be releasing wrists thru impact, happy practicing, you can also do these drills without balls.

I've always though the glove under the armpit is more to maintain left arm / body connection. Don't know if that's going to really help at this stage.

 

First thing I'd do is stick a headcover or a small disposable water bottle just outside the target line and 2-3 ball lengths behind the ball. Makea couple of slow practice swings to get teh feeling of coming in to in and then slowly speed things up. Water bottle is good because it will give you feedback if you hit it and won't hurt you or your clubs.

 

Eventually as you get better, you can speed things up and eventually add a shaft along your swing plane line to keep you from coming over / under the swing plane. This is a pretty advanced drill however, I'd start with teh bottle first.

Exstatic about the Rocket's return. However, they've got about a month before he's back, and at the rate they're going there'll be no chance at the playoffs. We need a BIG turnaround NOW. Tonight wasn't good to say the least.

 

The first video on this page from Vijay may help you quite a bit. Be careful with this drill at first, go slow and work your way faster.

I think I may have fixed this problem today. Thanks for your help. I am sure if anything else hinders my game that I can come here for advice.
