06 Big bertha irons.

Just wondering how many of you hit these irons. I hit them tonight and hit them real well actually i like the feel of them and the distance was better than im seeing with my current clubs. Just wondering how the other guys feel about the irons who play them. Im not long hitter wish i was but i was hitting a 6 iron 155-160 yards straight and few shots to the right just a bit. These clubs may be the next set of irons in my bag.

My Dad just got the '04 model with graphite shafts replacing some 100 year old Titleist irons (from the '70s actually). I went with him a number of times and we hit a number of clubs. MP23, MP17, Pings I5, we hit a few others as well that I forgot. He liked the Big Bertha series the best, with the Ping's in a close second.

Sorry I can't help you on the '06 model.

I got them this year after upgrading from the '02 Bertha's. I didn't see too much of a change in distance. If anything, I hit the ball higher than with the '02 model. That probably eats up the extra distance that I would see.

They are super forgiving and with my fitting I was able to get them made to my specs. Great clubs overall.

I normally shoot in the 90's, so I need all the forgiveness I can get.
