exactlyright .. at 181 grams, I find it extremely hard to control the putter with that kind of gripping style when its that heavy .. 2 thumb style.. played and practice for over 15 hours and it didnt get better, totally cannot relate the feel , straighter, better roll, but alot worse feel. There are actually a person I know who putt 2 thumb using normal grip .... he got small hands though. very excellent putter 26 per round.. and a couple in 4gea forum actually loves this concept and claims to ram everything in under 5 feet. or drop 6 strokes etc etc. My uncle tried this years back and he gave up as well, and presently he is a below 30 putt with std grip.

However, with the pure pendulum grip It feel quite fine using standard overlapping grip or maybe crosshanded. Its really good to prevent yips and really keeps the hands out of the stroke.. heavier and more solid.. but frankly... Its not something I can live without ...

There was a little thread on this from February (here, if anyone is interested), however there is no problems with revisiting a subject.

I have one of these on a putter (online purchase, seller never disclosed the 0.1 defect on this otherwise 9.9 putter!) :idhitit: , and it is only by virtue of my unwavering laziness that I haven't already replaced it. The feel is absolutely terrible. The rubber is inconsistent with a weird, spongy-corklike consistency and feel. Also, by alligning your thumbs, you are effectively eliminating one contact point with the putter. This makes the wrists much more likely to break down during the stroke. Also, as Hipcheck pointed out fitting this into a standbag is very problematic (never actually made it to the course), the thing is very big. I think it would be a more effective training tool if it were rotated 90* and used as a padde grip to eliminate wrist action. Stay far away! :D

I use the PP grip and had my first 25 putt round ever. My putting has progressed to grudgingly acceptable from downright demoralizing. In other words....the grip and method work awesome! :idhitit:

The PP grip does work very well with left hand low too. Fits in my bag with putter well ok.

Far be it for me to disagree with Beruo however.

You are forgiven for your transgression. It was only out of respect for your review in the other thread that I've stayed quiet for so long. But I won't stay silent anymore. :idhitit: I seriously can't argue with a 25 putt round, shoot I'm over that on 9 holes. But aside from the theoretical allignment benefits, I can't see any redeaming quality for this grip. I guess maybe I'll hold on to it after I pull it, and sell it to Dyno when these grips go the way of the Dodo. :D
