advice on irons

i would appreciate any input on what irons to demo. i need a backup set to go to when my game is off as it is now. i am currently playing Hogan apex edge pro's in stiff steel, but i find that i dont hit them that well until i am in midseason form. i tend to take very slight if at all divots with my irons and my misses are always thin and rarely fat. are there any irons out there that have little offset but would help forgive the thin shot. i am generally a low/mid ball hitter.

Thin is my typical miss and my iron swing is somewhat shallow leading to a similar ballflight as yours. The MX-23's do have noticable offset in the longer irons (not as much as the super GI clubs) but they have a ton of weight down low which helps elevate the ball and thin shots with these still feel very good. When I first played them this spring the temperatures here in Michigan were in the high 40's and low 50's and I hit many thin shots my first few rounds without a single stinger. They are very forgiving and the feel is awesome without the bulk of many GI irons, I'd definitely recommend demo'ing the 23's as a potential back-up set.

i have the 23s in steel stock stiff shaft as a back up set.......i love the feel.........see, from my os2.......the feel is totally different.........and when i was getting fitted for these........i can hit this set way better then my os2.........which is stupid easy to hit but i can't hit it...........but demo these and you'll love 'em.....
