Ball Preference

What's your Ball Preference. I have always played a Pro-V1 but i'm beginning to really like the Callaway line.

ya can't beat the spin on the 56 cause the hx spins like crap. Though i flop between the 56 and the ONE platinum. both GREAT balls but i wanna try the new tm balls! :crazy:

I played a Tour.56 tday and shot really good with it. Seems to be pretty long off the tee & soft around the greens.

HX 56. Easy to control, long, great spin around the greens and ALOT better now that they are more durable.

I've played all the Callaway balls with varying amount of success, but every time I play a Pro V1 (or X) I ask myself why I'd try to play anything else. Pro V's are #1 for a reason; they're the gold standard.

 

Personally, I think the HX Tour balls are overrated.

I love the HX.Tour. The HX.56 spins too much for me on short irons, and i deal with the lack of greenside spin with the HX.Tour. I will be playing the HX.Tour for a while I have a feeling.

HX Tour. Loooooooonnnnggggg. One hop & stop with no crazy backspin. 56 spun a little too much for me with wedges, would be a good choice for a better player.

I have just not found any ball that plays better for me than the ProV1X. Distance, feel, spin, etc.

 

The Bstone B330S is second for me.
