Poll: MacTec NVG2 v. TM R7 425

Which one is longer, more accurate and forgiving?

If these drivers had the same loft and shaft, which one is longer? Which one is more accurate? Forgiving?

I dont like the 425, but i hate the mactec. so im gonna say the 425 is longer.

MACTEC Tour NVG2 is longer.

I have a Tour model at 9* with a diamana and it is the longest I have ever had bar none. It may also be the most accurate or just behind my Ping. Overall, a very underated club.

NVG2 is much longer than my r7 460! Probably 20 yards however I had a weaker shaft in my r7 but I had less loft.

 

Accuracy was outstanding. During the demo day when I first hit the NVG2, I only missed three balls out of at least 50 that I hit. I was switching inbetween the 11.5 regular and the 10.5 stiff.

 

It's crazy how much more SS you can generate with the QA shaft. I was clocked at 107.

 

I traded my r7 460 for the NVG2 after my session at Demo day, and haven't looked back yet. This after the r7 460 only stayed in the bag about 8 days.

Wow, based on this poll, looks like the MacTec NVG2 is longer. I have it in the bag right now and it seems hotter than my J33 460. Not totally sold yet, but seems very positive, got to get used to the 50 gram shaft. Thanks.

The Mactec has a smaller head than your J33r too.

 

The consumer version head only measures 445 cc.

For me, the MACTEC driver is far and away the longer, TM slightly more accurate
