What does Vijay change more frequently: drivers or putters? :friends:

He hasn't switched putters since late 2004 and he's switched drivers twice so I'd say drivers. He's tweaked his NC but it's still the same head and design.

It's got to be drivers. This year so far: 460 COMP, Hi-Bore, yesterday in the US Open pictures with an R7 TP.

It's probably about equal.

 

When he won the PGA in '04 he had a Bettinardi in the bag. Then when he inked his new deal with cleveland, it stipulated that he had to play a Cleveland driver and Never Compromise putter. He then swtiched to the No. 5 then to teh Grey Matter 2 mallet and now he's back to the no. 5.

 

I think he also won the PGA with an R7, then switched to the comp, then to the hibore at the beginning of this year, now back to the comp supposedly.

 

Don't pay any attention to the clubs players are using in practice rounds. Guys area always experimenting and grabbing clubs out of each other's bags. What counts is what's in play when the scoring counts. :friends:
