Anyone know what type of grinds he has on his wedges? I saw him hitting flop shots at the Travelers Championship with absolute ease and it was flat out impressive to watch.

It's called the "I practice more than basically anyone in the world, have been playing since I was a youngster, and am very talented" grind. :swoon2:

Steady on mate. You'll destroy the myth that 'you can get a short game like Seve in ten minutes flat with a fancy grind and no effort whatsoever on your part' with silly talk like that... :swoon2:

Is he still using those 'stealthy' 900 series wedges with CG12 stampings?

Heavens to betsy what was I thinking... the C grind on my 60* took a solid 10 shots off my game. I figure if I can get a 56* with that grind I'll be ready for the tour. :D

There's still a bit of creative stamping of those Clevelands going on by the looks of it. Still CG1s and 900-series wedges by the loooks of it - despitre what the stampings say.

Its good to see that VJ still breaks out the Steelhead every once in a while. If callaway put those back out on the market, i'd bet that they would sell like hot cakes.
Z-UR?? Really? Wow.

What shafts in his irons?
"But what is most interesting is that Singh seems to be practicing with a different ball. He played with the Srixon Z-Star X through the end of the 2009 season, but has been using a slightly-softer Srixon Z-UR ball recently. With the new groove rule changes ready to go into effect for the pros on January 1, many of the game's best players are switching to softer golf balls to help them compensate for the reduced spin they will get around the greens with their new wedges."

With VJ's swing changes of recent times; is his driver still massively cranked open ?

Vijay Singh put two new Miyazaki shafts in play at the AT&T. The shafts are so new to the tour that, while legal, they were counted this week as Miyazaki Kusala - but their gold (driver) and gray (hybrid) colors give them away as the brand new Miyazaki C.Kua.

Singh has a Miyazaki C. Kua 59X in his Cleveland Launcher driver and a C. Kua 105X HYB in his Adams hybrid.

"We built him two DSTs with it and re shafted all his Adams with Miyazaki. If he played a hybrid then it has a Miyazaki in it," a Cleveland/Srixon tour rep said.

Several PGA Tour pros have requested the new shafts, so look for them to be showing up in bags throughout the summer.

"We are seeing significant distance gains when tour players test ultra-light drivers," said Rob Waters, PGA Tour Manager for Cleveland Golf/Srixon. "Sometimes there can be an adjustment period, but when performance improvements have been measured in the past, tour professionals have always been driven to adapt and adopt."

Miyazaki Shafts is owned by SRI Sports, which also owns Cleveland Golf and Srixon.
