Recomendation and Opinion

Help me out..
Let me start out by saying I thought I would never consider switching from my Nike Ignite 460 with the Fujikura Vista Tour shaft..I'm married to that thing. After a conversation with a buddy of mine, it began to make me think.
I swing about 108-115, and with my current driver, I hit the ball low(er) or moderate height of the tee. My concern is that I may not be getting the farthest carry at the height the ball is traveling. But does it make that much of a difference?
My Idea: Try another driver (Already been thought out)..Nike Sasquatch 10.5* with a Fujikura Tour Platform 26.3 X flex. With this club, I feel I could really unleash on the ball and just let it get up in the air to carry. But will I find that the higher the carry, the less roll I get?
So what I'm asking from any of you, is if you have had this question in your mind, or switched to a driver that resulted in a higher ball flight and the result (positive or negative?) As well as your opinion on the shaft if you have played it.

Thanks in advance!

Well, Ive tried em all with every shaft option. Tried to get more height for more carry and tried the lower route with low flight and roll. Alot of it depends on how and where you play. There is an ideal launch, spin and ball speed rate to maximize distance but if you play on courses that run out that won't neccessarily apply. If I had my choice, here in windy Oklahoma, I would like the lower ball flight as the high, all carry, ball flight just kills me sometimes unless Im with the wind. You just don't get much roll with a high ball flight. Ive even find times that my ball will land and bounce backwards. I have always hit the ball very high and am envious of you lower penetrating ball flight hitters.

I would have to say that if you are happy with the Ignite, don't change it. I find myself going back to my ignite over the SQ Max and the SQ Tour on occassion as I just love the feel of the Ignite. I personally would think twice about going to the SQ Max if you are happy with the ingite. I have found that most people that really like the Ignite do not care much for the SQ Max and vice versa. You might consider the Tour model however. Thats just my opinion.

Deffiantly something to consider.

What about any TaylorMade driver? As you can see in my signature I'm a TM fan. I did hit the r7 460 with the stock stiff shaft and hit that rather high and like 8-10 yards farther than my Ignite..it may just have been the day and the conditions of the course though. Would the ProForce V2 throw it up in the air any? I think any shaft would travel higher than the Vista Tour at this point.

I found that when I went to a higher launch the ball rolled less. This is pretty obvious since it falls more from the sky. The main thing that helped was lowering the spin rate. It made my tee shots much more accurate. I've always hit the ball plenty long, but never accurate enough. The lower spin rate put together with some discipline to not swing for the fences made me more accurate. My advice is find something long enough that is in the fairway more. The Ignite is a really great head (better than the SQ imo), so if you want to alter flight, my advice is to change shafts in the Ignite.
