How long is this tournament going to take for Ben to win?!

The Booz Allen Classic is now going on its 6th day. This has got to be one of the longest tournaments in the history of golf I've been pulling for Ben Curtis and I along with probably him are running out of energy! :yahoo: He's got to be going nuts trying to card his second win with the constant rain delays. Unless he does a Phil or a Van de Velde his seven stroke lead should set him up for a well deserved win. He must be going through some enormous stress and pressure with the constant delays. I sure hope he can get focused again tomorrow to finish it up. GO BEN! :yahoo:

They shoulda called this tournament yesterday afternoon. I mean C'mon! 7 shot lead with 2 holes to play? It's a done deal. At this point it's probably doing more harm than good. JMHO, Simp

the only reason to keep this tournament going is to give guys like Paddy a chance to make another birdie to jump up a place or two and bank more money.

i feel bad for Curtis. he has been smoking the ball all week, then has to wait forever to hoist the trophy. its unfortunate that as well as he's played in justifying his Open win, no one will be around to clap for him when he wins. His game was tight this week, i wonder if he'll be able to carry it for the rest of the year.

great week for titleist. i guess the nike guys took a break this week to give someone else a chance.

I too was very impressed with Ben this week. His swing looked great. I don't think I saw him miss a shot all week!!

It shows he can definetly do it, he just needs to learn to be more consistant.

It's called payback for being such a hyprocrite and a liar. Ben Crane is getting exactly what he deserves. His good play this week will get him a win but it's fitting no one will be there to gve him credit since he does not know how to give credit when it's due.

If it was not for the other guys trying to move up some spots, I would hope Ben's God keeps it raining.

Crane??? Curtis???

It would've been something though if CURTIS twisted a knee or something heading over to the course for the 6th day and couldn't play.

Easy to mix up, I think the hypocrisy comment should have been directed at Crane, not Curtis. Probably in reference to Ben Crane, the ever so faithful, not paying the instructor who got him on tour.

Wasn't there some rumors a couple of years ago about Ben Curtis not paying his caddie when he won the open? Or that he paid him a little bit?

First off- Ben has been hitting the ball really well for a couple weeks. Hit it well at Muirfield and the Open. Like he said, his putting finally clicked. I thought the stress would be horrible sleeping on a 5 shot lead going into Sunday. But to have to do it for two more nights?! Suck.

Not paying his caddie after the open? Don't know about that one. He used a local caddie over there. Maybe the rumor started because he didn't pay his normal caddie? I know he was on good terms w/ both after the Open.
