Anyone Using Only 13 Clubs?

I use 13 clubs. I could add a 5 wood or 62-degree wedge, but don't really see the need. Interestingly, I shot my best round ever, a 77, playing fast after work one day and carrying only my even irons (4-6-8-PW-LW) as an experiment. Maybe I should try it again!

Right now I am at 13 with my wedges at 48*/53*/58* but since the TVD Vokeys are now available for custom ordering I am considering moving to 48*/52*/56*/60*.

Other than wedges I do not have a need as my gaps are well filled out using my current setup.

I have been down to 13 in the bag since early summer. Removed the 3 metal from the bag and immediately started making more birdies on the par 5s. Can hit the 18* hybrid just about as far as the 3 metal, just not quite as high.

I use 14, but I think it would be really cool if, rather than rolling back grooves, limiting the ball, and stopping club technology, the USGA made the rules to say 10 clubs and a putter. I know this would be a MAJOR change, but I think it would be awesome. Lots of times I play 9 with my buddies for quarters with 3 clubs and a putter. My scores are not significantly higher...

For those with 17* to 23*, do you notice a big gap between these 2 clubs? I am thinking about going to 17* hybrid to 23* hybrid to 5 iron and ditch the 4 iron. Seems like a number of people have this set up...

I figured that I'll stick to the clubs I can hit and once I master the 22 degree hybrid, work up to a longer hybrid or fairway.

No 4i and even contemplating ditching the 5i for a hybrid.

I've always played 13 clubs as well. I tried to add a 4th wedge for the last spot in my bag and it confused the hell out of me. For some reason it's the magic number for me.

I was for the longestest time & when I realized it I decided to purchase the Adams black Super HyBird 17* as my 2 iron & now Im hitting it longer & better of the fairway or rough better than my TM Superfast 3 wood. May end up getting the 15* Super HyBird as as of right now everyone has them on back order. Im loving my Adams Black Super Hybirds 17* & 19*

Set up really seems to work for me the best. I have not pulled the trigger on the 14th club because I cannot decide between a #2 hybrid or a 5wd at this point.

had 60* in the bag as 14th club but didnt utilize it made more mistakes since i hardly hit it, played completely retarded shots with it in the bag instead of straight forward shots. i might even goto 12 clubs might take 3 and 5 wood out and replace with 4 wood
