Rare Tour 905R - 10.5* Loft - Graffaloy Prototype Bimatrix Stiff

I have for sale a rare Tour (no serial number) 905R in mint condition with the rare loft of 10.5*. The driver is shafted with a black Graffaloy Prototype Bimatrix in Stiff flex - this is a great high launch/low spin driver.

The driver is 45" long and frequencies and around 256 - true stiff flex. The head appears to be square and the swingweight is D8 (basically because of the steel tip shaft).

It has no 905R headcover but I will throw in a 905T headcover.

Would prefer cash but would consider a trade for a R7 HFS in 138 or 15* or an Adam 4060 Tour 13* or 14.5* or an A2T hybrid in 19*.

The weight of the shaft is 78g torque 2.9 and tip is 0.335.

Just curious, but I've never heard of a 905R with a Bimatrix Prototype shaft in it. I know you can't get Titleist to put them in, so maybe it's a custom install. If so, couldn't a person replace the ferrel or hosel on the club with a blank one. Plus, 10.5* stiff flex tour drivers are not exactly common. I'm not trying to say this isn't a tour issue, but it just sounds a little fishy.

i'm also not saying that this isn't tour issue but my retail 10.5 905t doesn't have a serial number either

The lack of serial number is usually the only way to tell a Titleist tour driver apart from a retail driver but I do agree that there are retail drivers out there that dont have a serial number. The only way to be 100% sure is to trust your source and I trust my source (Japan Tour).

I had a 10.5* lofted retail 905R driver that I really liked that did have a serial number so I thought getting a 905R tour driver would be a better driver but the driver/shaft combo has just not worked for me.

Also I dont see why having a tour driver with 10.5* of loft would be fishy as there are a tonne of tour drivers with 10.5* of loft - also I cant see why the fact that it has a graffaloy prototype bimatrix in stiff flex would make it also fishy - tour players have access to any shaft they want and not everybody on tour uses an X Flex Shaft.

I am not sure whether to be a bit peeved with the statements made in the couple of threads questioning whether the driver is legit or not. I know that the comments were not made with any malice but I am still not happy when my reputation is questioned.

I have access to a lot of rare tour stuff and have always had successful transactions with several members in Golfwrx, BSG and TSG.

Anyway a trade is pending on this driver.
