Dan is coming out here in early October to do a one day golf school October 9th-10th at Las Colinas Golf Club .School will be from 9 am to 5 pm, He is anticipating a decent amount of interest so he is planning on offering 2 days to keep the instructor to student ratio nice and low (which means best bang for your buck). Cost will be $500 a student

Daniel Carraher is an Authorized Instructor of The Golfing Machine who has spent time teaching on the PGA and Nationwide Tours. He currently works with Nationwide Tour players Brian Smock and Clay Ogden along with many other players who have played on the PGA Tour, Nationwide Tour, European Tour and most of the mini tours around the United States. He also coaches/coached players at every level of college golf from DI to NAIA

Schedule

• Go over Geometry and Ball Flight Laws
• Film each Students Swing
• Implement Corrections
• Break for Lunch and Look over Swings Again
• Practice the rest of the day on corrections

I've got to say $500.0 is a little steep. Especially here in the Valley, I'd rather get 2-4 hours with Mike Labeave, Scott Watkins, or a slew of other great instructors. Didn't Iteach put out a thread that he was looking to charge $300.00 for a day??? No hate here, just common sense.

This was in place before I made those statements. I have extended an offer to those commited that they can come to both days for the $500. To buy out a day of time in SD where I'm at now is $1250.

In comparison a school with Mike and Andy is $2000-2500 for two days. Not many out there doing golf schools, especially not ones that come to you, for $500

Actually seems like a fair price for 2 days of instruction. In Tampa a good instructor will run $60 to $100 an hour (or more). Granted that's 1:1 instruction, but $40 an hour with Dan seems reasonable for a small group.
