driver shaft

any reccomendations?

i currently have a ping si3 380 with a regular flex si3 stock shaft. i bought the club as a demo when i was around 12 or 13 years old and i'm way too strong for the shaft now. My swing speed is around 110mph and i have an average launch around 9 to 11 degrees (im told much too low). any reccomendations on a new shaft for the driver?

also... does anyone know the tip size of an si3 380? just so i know what shaft to order. thanks.

After you get done messing around, you will have more money in a driver that isn't worth much. Now if you can to the work yourself and have some spare shafts laying around collecting dust, then by all means swap the shaft out. :cheesy:

the tip size is probably a .335

 

I agree, you can get better drivers out there used with the proper loft and shaft that will work better for you already installed for about the same price your probably going to spend on re-shafting your old ping

I have to agree w/ every one here.

 

I would recommend you to get the right loft w/ the right flex and spec if you want to improve and don't forget to give your self a room to grow ( at your age, you'll grow fast ).
