Best shirt to keep cool

I've tried Nike's Dri-Fit Pro Pique, Sphere Dry, mercerized cotton and Dri-FIT Body Mapping, but I gotta say, Dri-Fit Body Mapping wins hands down with its small vent holes all over most of the shirt.



Second place would be mercerized cotton, but the Dri-FIT Body Mapping has the vent holes, which are really nice when it's hot and humid.

What do you think?

I'm a big fan of the Under Armour Golf Line. Keeps me cool and looking good. A huge plus is the shirts are machine wash and dry with no ironing.

Hmm...Under Armour Grid Polo with its mesh backing sounds cool.

I have two of the Nike Body Mapping shirts, one short sleeve the other long sleeved, and they are superb. I picked them up as samples from the Nike factory outlet, and wish I had grabbed a couple more. The venting is excellent, hands down the best shirts for hot weather. Are they still available in the US, as they are not stocked anywhere in Australia ?

I'm a big fan of Nike dry fit shirts. And some of Tiger's line-up. They work perfectly in keeping the sweat off of me along with being cool in the hot Hawaiian climate.

Nike Sphere Dry or Adidas ClimaCool shirts are hands down the best I have ever wore. The are tons better than the regualr Nike Dry-Fits. You are dry after the round, even when it is crazy hot. Well worth the money.

Like stated above, the Norman PlayDry is nice. I wear a lot of Ralph Lauren polos, they're not too bad about keeping cool. But I love the look of alot of the new adidas shirts.

Nike Dfi-fit react sphere cool is awesome. Play-drys look kool, and so does the nike shirt at the beginning of the thread. It reminds me of a jersey.

I saw a Nike Tennis shirt at the Nike Outlet....it had mesh sides. Looked REAL cool....I may pick one up for when we go to Hawaii in September.

 

If you are near a NIke store, the Nike Tennis shirts have the same technology, but are often a bit cheaper. I don't know how they fit for golf though......

I have an Adidas Climacool shirt that beats everything else I own hands down. It's touted as "SPF15" which means I can actually tan through it. It has a fairly busy stripped pattern because if it didn't you could literally see through it. VERY cool... love it.

The Nike BodyMapping looks like a copy of the Adidas ClimaCool which was out over a year ago -- Adidas has had the small holes in the shirt with SPF factor for a while - Nike just copied the holes -

 

Nothing wrong with that - let's give Adidas its due.

Adidas is clearly the winner with it's climacool shirts. I now only buy their Climacool gear in Polo shirts, I also have a load of their soccer training gear, easy to wash, never stains and doesn't need ironing and doesn't go wash done, it last 10 times longer than cotton

 

One thing I will say, is regardless of brand some of the materials/weaves lend themselves to snagging so an expensive shirt could be rendered useless if caught on some velcro or bush thorns.
