Awesome WITB. Really cool to see all the changes over time. Quick question: I noticed some Cg7 heads in the pics and they looked like they had the color removed from the logo on the cavity of the club. Did you just use nail polish remover? I have the same clubs and am looking to paint fill but I am afraid I will ruin the black finish on the club, especially in the cavity. Thanks!

Where are the pictures of the 588 TT with the FST shafts (read on another thread that you installed these)...I really like the sound of that set up and would like to see what it looks like...you still have them correct? LOL

Alrighty then. Made a point to get up and get this done. Overall Im very content with this bag. The only changes I forsee are maybe going to 913s or possibly a Cleveland Custom Classic XL. But with the new home, starting my Masters next month, and now a new baby in March, what monies I do have will be going towards a practice setup for the garage.

I know those are famous last words... but as shown by my lack of participation here... this time it might stick.

First... my little work shop. After living in a townhome for several years words could not describe how happy this makes me.

20130803_100855_zps5ef8f0f8.jpg

second up are the most important part of the bag. Ive been through too many variations but I REALLY like these. Maybe if I can locate a set of 588 RTX Rusties I might switch but until then... I play with the 48* as the PW is 44*

20130803_101158_zpsb78a106d.jpg

20130803_101209_zps427fcfe0.jpg

Next up are the new sticks. Finally checked my ego and got something a bit more forgiving. Love the look, love the performance. Not chunky at all and pretty smooth.

8-PW

The 5-7

20130803_101839_zps6d6d0d47.jpg

Last but not least the big sticks. I used the 7s from the 15* and never hit a driver better, more consistent, with more confidence. Finished length is just over 43.25". The 15* is at 42" 17* at 40.5" and 21* at 40". Might be a tad too close for some, but is working really well for me.

And the putter. If you read through the post, you know I've been loyal to my Kirk Currie since I started playing. This is the FIRST and ONLY putter that has been able to move to the 'bin'. I got from a member and sent it to Slighter. Very happy with the results.

I enjoy your taste in equipment. I had the cg7 c stamps for a bit, just missed some ztx2's on the bay and have srixon pro 100's, cg16 t stamps and 588cb forged in bags now and you can see my sig. I see the t stamps didn't make it long. Me either, they were great until I got the 588's. Now the t stamps will be handed down to a buddy after being sent to my practice bag. I like the 588 tt's but I'm holding out hope for the tour concepts, then I'll jump.

First up this is a really awesome bag, love the setup. I see that your 910s have a black smoke effect where the stock woods are matte grey. Is this a paint fill you've added?

Thanks. I liked the Ts plenty. I just needed something more forgiving. I almost grabbed a set of the 588 cbs and after seeing my buddys, Im glad I didnt. Hes a titleist guy, but is loving them. If I can score a set of TCs in the spring (supposedly when theyll be available), Ill check them out as well.
My I-506s have Black Golds in them. Those are some great shafts.

Thanks Not sure if it was the shoddy lighting, but the only paintfill I added was the orange in the lettering.

Well the Di in the Xl isnt working out. Had a good round sandwhiched by two bad rounds. I just get along better with the heavier shafts. Gonna throw a Blueboard 73 in it and give it another go.

Dude,

Love the 588 TT irons in the bag...they look friggin HOT! I really would love to bag the 588 TT irons but will need to re-shaft. I am a KBS guy also (Tour, stiff) how do you like the set up with the C-Taper shafts? I guess it is hard to compare but I will tell you that I am a high ball hitter and play a slight fade (when swinging well) on every shot...I spin the ball alot (can back up a 6 iron Wilson Staff Duo on approach) so if I go with the 588 TT irons I was wondering how the C-taper shafts are working for you...I would suppose I may want the R+ in the C-taper as I hear they play a tad stiffer than normal? Anyway I would be concerned with the strong lofts on the 588 TT irons that your ball flight would be very low with the C-taper but obviously with less spin due to the shaft...well enough rambling can you just give me a snap shot of your game and how the C-Taper shafts fit? Thanks man and sweet bags as I checked out your whole thread...also liked the Srixon irons!

PS...how did you get the C-Tapers to work in the 588 TT irons...shims? Because aren't the C-Taper .355 tapered and the 588 TT is .370 parallel???

So here we are.. just got done putting a satin finish on these bad boys. Pretty sure this is the bag.. unless I find some Nippon SPBs.. been thinking about them a lot lately.

Without further adieu:

After first pass. (I really don't like chrome)

20140102_145000_zpsqtyghm8l.jpg

And the finished product:

Mmmmm rusties V2

**note** Barkeepers friend is quite possibly the greatest thing behind only duct tape and WD-40.

And after a (too) long separation: the greatest fairway ever created:

My beauty queen: The love is still strong after 5 years.

20140102_160147_zpsvvhrtjsg.jpg20140102_155944_zpszd8ldbcl.jpg

And some VERY under-rated shafts:

The 21* 910H is not in the photos as she was still drying. I assure you it looks the same as the 17* :)

Sweet stuff man! Which irons do you like better between the TT and the CB? I'm in the market and I've always loved Cleveland stuff, so those two especially interest me.
