Three different head weights for the new driver, combined with different grips make for many different combinations as far as fitting goes.

The new CG16 wedge is much softer than the current 15. Less rounded leading edge (heel to toe) and offset similar to the CG14. Also has somewhat of a sharper, higher toe.

they need to release this driver in 6 and 7.5 degree lofts. don't let me down cleveland~!

The current DST Launcher is made in a 7.5*. Tour only though. Not sure if that is carrying through to 2011.

That's a little bit too light for me but will be great for slower swingers
Trust me, it doesn't feel too light at all. In fact, because it still swingweights out normally, I'd bet you if I blindfolded you, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between this driver and any other. My ss is 115mph and it felt solid to me.
It only swingweights "normal" because they play them at longer lengths. Vijay went an 1" longer in the 59 gram version when he was playing it. If you play it at a normal length, they have to bring the headweight up, which in turn brings SW up and defeats the purpose. It also messes with performance. These are meant to play long and light. That's the trend of the future.....

Dansrixon,

Just the question I was wanting to ask. I just picked up a Cleveland DST with SL Diamana 43-Reg and wasn't sure if the "43-gm" shaft in Reg was going to be 'too whippy' (my S.S. is ~85-89), since I really like my Aldila NVS 55gm Stiff which is comparable (for me) to my Alidla VS Proto 65-gm Reg. At one point I had the same shaft in 3 different weights and it seemed to me that lowering the weight by shaft gram weighting reduces the firmness (i.e., 55-stiff not as 'stiff' as a 65-grm stiff, which again is not as 'stiff' as a 75-gm stiff). Following that idea, I was thinking the Cleveland DST with Diamana 43 SL-Reg was going to be too whippy, and even picked out another club in "stiff" to possibly purchase just in case. But the Diamana 43-Reg was actually very firm for me (even the butt end felt a bit stout, fat). I did see one review where they measured the Diamana stock shaft CPM and congratulated them for being spot-on and not going the typical route of selling stock shafts that are softer than the same stiffness OEM aftermarket shafts. But I had to wait and see.

I would like something just a tadd more flexible than the Diamana 43 SL-Reg, and was wondering about how the Miyazaki's stand up to them?

All I can say is if the shaft gets below around 65 grams I can't control it... my swing gets out of sync and my hands get too fast.

I'm not trading 250 down the middle for 300 in the sticks...

PS: Boo may be playing this shaft. Or he may be playing a one off heavier version that looks like this shaft. Doesn't really matter - I'm not Boo.
its not a one off heavier version. Boo is playing the Miyzaki 39s, tipped 1", which is heavier than 39g (check the Miyazaki website for more details). The shafts in these drivers are the exact same shafts that are out on tour.

I have hit all three Miyazaki C.Kua's, this shaft is not even in the same ball park as the lite Diamana that was in the DST and not like anything that has been in the market before, there has not been a tour caliber series of shafts designed specifically for this purpose and designed to fit this wide of a range of golfers. There are other lite shafts, but having hit these, I recommend trying these before we pass judgement based on lite shafts we have hit in the past.

there was once a time when 65 grams was "too lite",

Early in hand photos of the new GT2 models t the truck.  As soon as they show up on the range in player's bags we'll get some better from the top photos and hopefully some comparison photos against the last model.
