OB Sports National Team Championship

So my B flight low gross at the Longbow club championship seems to have earned me an invite the the OB Sports National Team Championship. Two rounds at We-Ko-Pa with reception, lunch and awards all comped by the club. That's cool. Of course this year it is in town, last year it was in Vegas and the hotel was comped as well. But hey, not complaining!

OB Sports managed clubs from all over the west will be competing. Each club sends 7 players plus a pro. The format is a flighted two man better ball team event.

I assume each club may have its own method to pick the members of its team. Longbow used the net and gross flight winners from the club championship.

Im so pissed at Ahwatukee golf properties. Been a member there for approaching 2 years and this is the first I've even heard about this.

Ha Tom, I'm still convinced it was a fluke. I shot a smooth 90 in Moorea on the honeymoon.

I'm just less than pleased with Ahwatukee as they never even made it known that there was an OB sports event, and there are NEVER any member tourneys. I'm letting the membership go at the end of the year, looking for a new club to play at.


Also, thanks for the wishes Tom, it was friggin awesome. Best wedding ever, if I do say so myself haha
