Just bought a Sun Mountain Speed Cart V1 so my set is almost finished. Now I only need to add a pair of shoes, a cart bag and a 60° wedge.

Well, I just bought a 60° wedge. Went for a used Mizuno MP-T10 white satin wedge. Got it on ebay for 22$ in good-very good condition. I was watching it for a few minutes and read a few reviews while waiting. I bought it and then really started to do my research (rather dumb, I know....but 22$?). After reading a LOT of raving reviews I'm so excited that I can't wait for the thing to arrive. Now I just need to get a nice cart bag (Wilson Staff Tour cart bag 2010 or the Cleveland CEO in camo colors) and a comfortable pair of shoes (Ecco Golf Street I guess). Pics will be posted as soon as I get the wedge.

Update: the Mizuno MP-T10 60° wedge is here and I put in new pics of the whole set (threw the old ones out). I'm sorry for the fact that I didn't notice that the headcover was on the putter lol. I'll add my final pics when the Cleveland CEO bag is here.

I added some pics of my stuff after my cart bag finally arrived (was first sent to Ireland instead of Iceland, then the Icelandic postal service managed to lose my package for a few days haha). So finally I could change the thread name to "finished". The new pics include whole set in my new Cleveland CEO cart bag and the Speed Cart V1. I will now officially stop bothering you people with updates

ps. it's been warm in Iceland for the last week or 2 and the snow has almost melted. Hope I will be able to test some of my new stuff in the near future.

Rockbottomgolf is selling them for 69.99$. And I was very happy with my purchase when they sold it to me for 89.99

The Smooth is such a good looking driver. Too bad the only loft they made it in left handed is 10.5 degrees.

I agree, I've been very lucky with some of my buys there. Today I bought a pair of Adidas Tour 360 4.0 shoes....paid 69.99 plus 31.99 for shipping (their ebay store). That's just amazing really, with taxes and toll I'll get them for less than half the price they cost up here in Iceland. Thumbs up for them!

Just bought a pair of those in white with black stripes from Golfsmith for 130 on sale. Great shoes man, little heavy, but they feel awesome out of the box.

Very nice! I was looking for those when I needed wedges but a few weeks ago the prices hadn't dropped that much.

Good choice, I really like them but haven't had a chance to try them on the course yet. I'm sure they'll be great.

Well I've had a little range time with some of my new stuff and here are my thoughts. Please keep in mind that my swing is still messed up and I tend to pull-hook almost every shot with my longer clubs. I'm waiting for the club pro to fix me up

Putter feels very good, easy to aim and align. Distance control has not been a problem but we'll see how it performs for me on the course when it opens.

60° wedge feels VERY good. Buttery feeling and it will be nice to go practise more with it. It is my first 60° wedge so I'll have to put some work in to hit all the shots that a wedge like this offers.

Fybrid is a great club imo, when I put a decent swing on it I can hit long penetrating balls with it. Sounds nice and feels great.

3 wood was all I was hoping for. Like with the fybrid, when I manage to put a decent swing on it the ballflight is very straight and penetrating. Muted sound and soft feeling when struck. Can't wait to hit this club when my swing gets back to normal mode.

Sorry to say, I can't comment on the driver yet. The pull-hook problem is terrible with the longest club and I pull hook EVERY shot with the driver (no matter if it is my driver or any other). Still very excited to put a good swing on that club. I'm convinced it will be a good driver for me in the next few weeks. I still have 1 month to work on my swing before my local course opens so keep your fingers crossed for me

Finally found my swing again. Had to change my takeaway because it was way too much inside. After a few swings I could hit the Wilson Staff Smooth driver. Very nice ball flight for me. Straight, low (9°) and long for me! Highly recommended for budget players. Very soft when struck and sounds great. Just love it!

Wow, it's been a long time since this post got updated! Just a few changes for next season. I've already changed my 3 wood to the Mizuno MX-700 with stock shaft and really like the forgiveness of it. Really soft when struck and that's what I like in my clubs. I can also switch from my 4 iron to my Adams A7 22° hybrid. Depends on my swing which I like more. I'm really excited about changing my grips before the season starts. I've already decided to go for the Pure Grips P2 wrap grips in different colors and plan to put them on my clubs myself. Going to put red on my irons, probably yellow or orange on my 3w and A7 hybrid, green on my wedges and probably blue on the driver. Haven't decided if I'm gonna change the putter grip because I really like the stock Odyssey grip but I'd really like to try the Pure Grips putter grips. Otherwise I'm good to go....

Thanks JayLefty, I've been watching the PURE Grips for a few years now and I've played with 2 PURE soft grips for over 2 years already. Those 2 grips have been great and still feel very tacky. This year I finally felt it was time to change grips on all my clubs. Btw, I installed the grips myself and it was no problem at all although I've never changed grips before. Did you go for different colors og different styles of PURE Grips on your clubs?

I went with the black PURE Pro grips. Played zero rounds and changed to the black P2 wraps. I only went with black because I think black grips are tackier than color grips. However, I like the red grips a lot!
