Yeah, I definately like the atmosphere here MUCH better! No 1984 vibes going on from the ownership / modsquad.

 

Do you guys know if hte tournament course will be open any time soon?

 

I heard they cooked the greens during the punching recovery and it was shut down for a while, I just don't know how long. I thought I heard mid-August. However, I'd definately like to get out to the members course because I like the aesthetics of that one much better. :drinks:

Got your new e-mail address, glad to see you over here! Have you seen demoman's bst regarding the 10.5 460 tp....i am sooo tempted but just can't pull the trigger.... :drinks:

 

My new FT-3/Altus combo is working out great lengthwise over the Diamana...however, it seems like you have to have a smoother swing otherwise control becomes an issue

oh....so the big daddy on campus talks now....ok, i see how it goes drew...maybe i'll start chipping with the 7 wood too then... :drinks:

 

 

guess what happened saturday at blackhorse drew? i had 5 birdies after 13 holes, and ended up shooting a 79!.... ;) talk about clutch, huh?

 

 

just blew up on the final holes when a buddy we were playing with starting having heat exhaustion....it was kind of funny cause we were playing a match and he was asking my partner and i for water....i told him to just take his soaking wet dark red shirt off..... :) we just stopped playing seriously after he started hallucinating....;(

Better be sure Samm980 doesn't hear about the 7 wood though. . .

 

Just for future reference (and for the benefit of the rest of the membership), we might want to start posting our weekly threads in the Texas Golf WRX chapter!

Now I am the shortest, lowest ball hitter of the group what do I have against the 7 wood? Heck I am the one who always says we should all carry more fairway woods and hybrids, except for Drew since Drew is a beast.

Plan is Saturday afternoon round, Keith and I are playing with Dmboak he is in town for a weekend of debauchery. Since Wahoo Sports did a great job of setting something up at Wildcat we are back to square one, I don't know if we will play at Woodforest or where but as expected the course looks great.

 

Steve I wish you would sneak out and play sometime Keith says you have some pretty sweet toys.
