Its actually the username I've had the longest going back to my days at A&M (yes, it was my address up there). That's how we all referred to it instead of Rick, Micky, or Paul's house. It was simply 1208 Hawk Tree and was rather "infamous." :drinks: I actually sigend up for an account here a long time ago, and thought that was the username I had originally when I came back recently, but it wasn't.

Sam & I are playing with dmboak at Cypresswood Traditions tomorrow at 1:30 PM. I made the tee time for 4, so we have an open spot if anyone would like to play - please come join us. There were also lots of tee times open around the same time, so if a larger group wants to play it should be no problem arranging it. They have a special for $50, the green fees aren't terrible.

I almost fell out yesterday at Blackhorse. I saw a beautiful light and seemed at peace with my life.

 

Milled Callaway...not the milled Odyssey that we've already seen? I used to have one of those Blue milled putters.

The portland is the best of Tom's shapes IMHO. His milling process is looking much more refined and pleasing to the eye in this model.

 

Hopefully he decides to roll it out as part of the full line.

played this morning before it got too hot, had 1 of my best rounds in a long time! had 4 birdies and 1 eagle and shot 2 over!!

 

ok guys, 7 wood is being switched back out with the hybrid, it just looks funny when others are hitting irons and i've got a wood in the hand... ;) makes me feel like i should get a pink putter too.... :drinks:

My 7 wood may be on the way out too. I spin the be-jesus out of it -- balloon city. I think PING has a refined hybrid on it's way soon, if my sources are correct.

Well Today Keith and I had him out at Cypresswood Tradition which is in crappy a** shape. Boak is a celeb from the other board and as the best golf board chapter in the world we should have done a better job of showing Derek a good time dammit! Of course his buddy who runs clubs is handling the night caps at Houston area "Gentleman's Clubs" but come on guys we should have had better representation. I saved face though and made sure that Derek leaves town with a very nice gift packet. In fact on the other board I believe he can be banned for all the stuff he accepted today.

 

Other notes, Drew your Portland looks sweet I guess you have Proto #5 I have #6. Also Keith is hitting the hell out if his Sasquatch Tour Issue with the VS Proto.
