I've played 2 seasons with these irons (4-aw) and love them. They are forgiving throughout. The short irons have pretty decent feel with a relatively thin topline for cb's. They are long, which is pointless except for the ego boost (which it turns out is important to me). The long Irons inspire enough confidence that I still use the 4 iron rather than a hybrid. The only negative is that the finish is slightly sensitive to moisture as some spotting developed early on, but it isn't too noticeable and hasn't progressed. I've tried to find irons i like better, but have yet to have any luck. I like these better than the burner 2.0's as well. I may purchase a blade set just to play now and then to remind me why I play cb's.

I'll be keeping these irons for years to come. Finally I'll be able to change out grips instead of sets!

I bought these about a month ago and have played 3 rounds with them, so far I love them. The clubhead feels slightly heavier than the shaft, so I have a good feel for where the clubhead is and what its doing during my swing. The feeling at impact is amazing, these clubs definately have that "squashed it" feel when hit in the sweet spot (which is pretty large). You can almost feel the ball compressing off the face, can't say enough good things about them. The only downside that I've found is the shaft, I got them in stiff graphite, jury is still out on them.. I've never hit so many high hooks with steel shaft clubs, I don't know if its the shaft or just setting up wrong with new clubs. Im definately spraying them all over the place at random times, but even with the random shot in an unexpected direction, overall they still performed well. Id give them 2 thumbs up :)

Looking at the lofts and length of the burners basically the 7-iron is another OEM's 6.5-iron or equivalent to the traditional lofted 6-iron.

So when I bought my 4-PW it was really a 3-9 set. Nonetheless I give credit to TM for making a 21* 4-iron (3-iron) so easy to hit that I dropped my 21* 3-hybrid from the bag.

The heavy head feels great for the swing weight and at impact I can feel the ball more than comparable CB's. But workability is going to be difficult because the ball is so hot off the face so it will take some effort.

As for distance, when comparing 7-iron to a traditional lofted 6-iron it's about a yard or two more carry with a much higher trajectory. I might look for a heavier shaft with a higher bent point like the TT DG S300 for a lower more penetrating flight as I seem to ballon a bit with the stock superfast 85g shaft.

For some reason I want to hate these Irons!! I bought them new last year during the $100 promo that TM had going towards the end of the summer. Previously I had the MX-100 Mizunos. They were so easy to hit I didn't feel challenged at all on the golf course. So I started my quest towards getting to a beautiful blade set with the first stopping in the Game Improvement category with the Burners.

These clubs do exactly what TM says they will. Straighter, Longer, Forgiving, etc. Checked all of those boxes! I have been testing several Blades from the Mizuno MP57 to the new MP 58 and a few Pings in between. I keep going back to my Burners! Love them!! I am a 10 handicapper and want to get over the hump to the single digits and thought that by getting a blade that I would get there. Well, I am confident that I will get there with these!

Just swapped out the factory superlites in my 09 Burners for some KBS Tours and love the setup. I really liked the irons but the 85 gram shafts felt too light for me. Now with the heavier shafts and lower ball flight that the KBS provides its a great combination.
