I saw where Stratton took second in the Firecracker Open there in Austin. Lost in a playoff after shooting 11 under for the three round event.

Before he leaves town for his whirlwind play at the Northwestern Am, the Canadian Am and hopefully the US Am(qualifies next week), back to back to back (Chicago, Toronto, LA) I will get some picks of his current setup. No real big changes in a long while. On the academic side, he took 21hrs last semester...yes...21 and earned another 4.0gpa and on the President's list once again. He has completed his degree in Finance and has 16hrs total to complete another degree in accounting. He will have 13hrs this coming semester and only 3 the last semester this year.

He currently is playing: (He will be changing over to the G400 Driver/3w and the Crossover when he gets back to Stillwater)

Goal is to get some more appearances on the walls in the Hall @ Karsten

Solid start to today's round in the Canadian Am. Finished tying the course record with a boring finish. Stratton did make a club change as he put the G400 driver in his bag. Same BB shaft, with a 9 degree head.

That is another major accomplishment on the long list of what he has accomplished. I am looking forward to the inside look at OSU golf and possibly seeing Stratton in action, airing on TGC in May and produced by Rickie Fowler.

Cannot imagine Stratton's frustration during his time at OSU, but found this little nugget that he will get to hang his hat on for the rest of his life. Pretty good company. Talking about Big 12 Championship.
