Biloxi Golf Trip

Recommended Posts

What time of year, who to book trip with, best deals?
I am looking to book a golf trip to Biloxi next year for around 8-16 guys depending on the cost. Who is the best to book with and is there anyone that combines golf, lodging, and airfare? What time of year is the best and not too pricey? What is the best place to stay. Which casino is the nicest to stay in? Would love to stay at Beau Rivage and play Fallen Oaks, but don't know if we could afford it. We would be staying 3-4 nights and playing 3-4 rounds of golf. What kind of price range are we looking at for golf, lodging, and airfare from Raleigh, NC?

I went in October, I stayed at the Palace Casino, very nice. Weather was hot, but not boiling. I played 4 courses, with hotel stay it was $400. The courses I played were the Preserve, Shell Landing, Windance Country Club, The Grand Bear. Very nice courses, with the Preserve being my favorite. The customer service was very nice, had a great time. I went to the Beau Rivage, very nice place, but very expensive, you could stay at the Palace and visit the Beau Rivage. Call the Palace and see that packages they have, they were great to work with. Hope this helps.

My dad goes usually in March or April from Sat-Sat and spends $600-$800 total. He has been making that trip since the mid-80's. They used to stay at The President casino & get their golf package through them. Since Katrina took the place, I think they have a time-share & get the golf on their own.

How many nights did you guys stay and how many did you have? Heat will not bother us. NC summers are 95-100 and very humid. Thanks for the info guys.

I have been to Gulfport/Biloxi several times originating from NC. You can fly thru Atlanta or Memphis. Every hotel will have a golf person. I like the deal at the Palace as they are aligned with the Preserve which everyone I have talked to loves. The Isle has good packages too. Beau would be great but very high.
Play Grand Bear. You will love it. Everyone I have been with really like Shell Landing also.
I would suggest calling John Muniz at Gulf Coast Transportation and contract with him to haul you around. You don't need a car at night as there is a trolley that will cart you to all the casinos for next to nothing. Plus no cars eliminates any DWI concerns and everyone can celebrate the end of the round. I have used John and he is first rate. Last time I used him the fee was $100 a person to get picked up at airport and taken to and from the golf three days and then to airport.

Thanks going to check with the Palace. Transportation sounds good also. Did you play the same day as you flew in or did you just take that day off? Think we are going to do 3 nights and 3 rounds.

We always had a day to get in and a day to get out resulting in four mites and three rounds. Not very time efficient!

  • 1 month later...

played grand bear, preserve, and shell landing in march of 2008 loved grand bear and preserve liked shell landing thought it was a little high priced as compared to the other two probably the best rates will be in the summer. booked everything myself had ten in the party with 3 golfers. with 8-16 get a couple of condos for the best prices. at the time i couldn't find any great advantage price wise on the golf to stay at the casinos maybe that's changed. have a good trip i can't wait to go back my self
