Attention Las Vegas/Henderson area WRX'rs

Anybody interested?

So I'll be making my second visit to Vegas this year, May 17-20. Lately I've been thinking that I'd really like to play a round of golf while I'm there. Problem is, none of my buddies that are going to be there with me really play....well two of them kind do, but they're basically beginners and they certainly won't be playing while we're there. Wanted to see if any of you guys living in the area might be interested in meeting up for a round....preferably on Wed the 18th. I know I'm asking a long way in advance, but honestly it will probably be the deciding factor on whether or not I decide to play while I'm there.

If anyone is interested, I'd prefer to keep it at $100 bucks or less, and unfortunately I won't have a car so I'll also have to pay for a taxi. But I have heard there are a couple of reasonably affordable places not too far from the strip.

I'm 29, very relaxed and easy going on the course, and would appreciate the opportunity to play with a fellow WRX'r in the LV area.

Hey....not just a fellow Burgh'er, but I'm also a Pitt graduate and an absolute die hard Panthers fan....loving the avatar! Yeah, we might be able to work something like that out, I'll definitely let you know closer to the date.

I think I can handle it.....you can remind me about the Winter Classic and I can remind you about the 2009 playoffs, haha. That would be amazing to play at prices like that, I didn't think it was possible in that area. I'll hit you up closer to that time. Thanks!

Well right now we're just hearing that he's still got lingering symptoms from the concussion. Apparently it was agreed that they would take as much time as needed in order to avoid the disaster that could be if he were to come back too soon. With him and Malkin out (and half of the rest of the team) our season appears to be heading south.

I can understand they don't want the face of the franchise (and NHL) to become another Lindros but it is nearly 2 months since he last played but they still have a good core of guys in Kennedy, Talbot, Letang.

Must have been heartbreaking the way they lost to the Sharks tonight with 4 seconds left in OT.
