WAAAAAAAY too much spin off the driver!
20 yards shorter at least than the B-330...

Are you sure you aren't confusing with the e5? The e6 is supposed to be one of Bridgestone's lowest spin balls off the driver. The e5 has a urethane cover and will have more spin and short game control.

The salesman at Ed Watts shoved these into my arms... They feel good around the green, I hit it hit it with my sw from maybe 20-30 yards the other day and it had a high traj. but the one thing I noticed the most was the softness on that shot, maybe it was a once in a lifetime shot though... They say it doesn't have that much spin off of the driver but I beg to differ. Maybe its just my inconsistent driving game though. Not helped with the Fade/Slice... 4/5.

Sorry. This spins crazy for me. The ProV1x is supposed to be low spin too but I get a lot of Driver spin with it as well.
B330 is the only ball I truly feel comfortable with.

Caddying for my son is the greatest thing in the world.

Hard, really? I was playing around with the e6 at a short game practice faclity and the ball came off my face really soft. In fact, it almost felt like I was hitting one of those 25 cent rubber "bouncy balls" that kids play with.

According to Bridgestone, the e6 is the softest multi-layer ball on the market right now.

We compare drivers, fairway woods, hybrids and irons but does anyone ever undertake a detailed comparison with golf balls.

It seems to me at the moment with there being little if any improvement in the golf club equipment area that work should now be undertaken to see the advantages/ disadvantages of the different golf balls per swing speed and slicers. The majority of us are not good enough to check a ball on a green, so a ball that reacts like that is not really helpful to me. What would be an advantage is a ball that goes further than another, and one that helps slicers, which the majority of us are. How do balls react in windy conditions?

My second thought is why do we not review the benefits of golf club and ball fitting. Start with what's currently in a testers bag and then go to half a dozen golf retailers and then go to golf specialist fitters. The results would be interesting to say the least.

Bunk. Last years model of e6, was the best e6 I have played. I haven't played the newest model but I will tell you the 2016 model was the softest e6. It was great but eventually I disliked how much roll out I was getting so I switched again. I never liked the e6+, I don't remember what the difference was supposed to be back when I played it for a short while but I remember not liking it for XYZ. Not much of a help there, lol.
