They had a used one in the local Golfsmith bin a month ago with a RIP Sigma, new version of Alpha with higher torque. The club looks pretty good, haven't hit many Tour Edge clubs myself though.

Having hit every available TEE wood and hybrid out thanks to a good tour connection I can honestly say "oh my" to this one! I recently took my XCG-V 15* 3-wood w/ Diamana whiteboard flower band stiff flex 83g out of the bag and replaced it with a 16.5* CB4 tour equipped with Oban Kyoshi x flex and I swear its 15 yards longer! try one i'm sure you will find it sneaky long and a very solid club. The black finish is nice as well!

The junkie in me had to buy one of these, hopefully I will have it soon, can somebody discribe this RIP Sigma, I'm guessing just a watered down off the rack shaft or no?? BB

So I cracked my CB1 head and wanted to share how the Tour Edge lifetime warranty works. Yes they will replace the head. I'm just warning you... it will look like someone tooko the head and played kick the can with it before they shaft it up for you. All kinds of chips, scratches, etc on the replacement head. I posted about this on another golf board and a few other people had the same experience. So maybe you don't care but it sorta peeved me.

For those that have one would youconsider the cb4 to be somewhat deepfaced or is it def shallow?

Also curious to know how she might compare to the sf 2.0 tp
[/quote]

Its shallower than the CB1 & CB2. Close to the same as the CB3 Tour. But the CB4 head is a tad longer. In no way would I consider it shallow. I have not seen the SF 2.0 so can't comment on that. Other than it looks like a unfinished Easter egg.

Mine arrived today, I would say it's very similar to the R11 face depth, it's not shallow but it's not over the top deep either like previous Tour models. I'm by no means a deep face guy and this appears fine to my eye...BB

I've had this in my bag for over a month now and it replaced a TEE XCG. I have the RIP Sigma and I cannot believe the difference between this and every other FW i have hit. I have a xcg 5w that will get replace some time this summer when the finds become availible. If you don't have an issue hitting fw's off the deck then this club will def inprove what you have in the bag right now. If you do have an issue then I would look for a higher launching club.

I was flat out busting my 16.5* today, damn is this thing a beast! The Sigma is no Alpha that's for sure, the high spin guys better look for another shaft option. I on the other hand have a mid spin/mid launch profile and at least today this softer RIP appears to work very well, nice mid high ball flight. I originally planned on installing a brand new Matrix Radix 7 strong flex I have on hand but after today's results I may hold off and see if this made for RIP can actually hold the spot...BB

I tried this out at demo day today and the order has been placed for a 3/15 and I can't wait. I have been playing the cb3 tour for a year now and while it is awesome off the tee, it has been more demanding off the deck for me. Not so with the cb4 as I compared them side by side. Just flat out better results for me. Partly because of the head, partly because of the shaft..... but definitely easier off the deck. Can't wait for it to arrive next week.yahoo.gif

I've never been an Exotics fan. Always thought it was a Tour Edge product way overpriced. Well, I hit a CB4 Tour 15 degree 3 wood at a demo day 2 weeks just really because I've never hit one. OMG. Let's get right to the point. Been in my bag now for 4 rounds and can see it staying for 4 years. It's that damn good. It's the perfect 3 wood IMO. Get ya one!

Just to update some numbers on my 4 wood, we spec'ed it yesterday. I was quite pleased to see that the shaft was indeed installed on spine, got lucky! Specs as follows...BB
