Man, this thread didn't stay in my 'participated' tab after the transition. I'm not sure if I'm happy I found it again or not because you guys have some really sick putters that I'm totally jealous of.

anybody here been able to buy anything from the hive release ?

 

For me once I a roll and look once ( maybe 2 minutes ) they are all sold out. Or all except the one ugly of the bunch. How many putters are they selling each week ? Pretty irritating to me. Sold out this morning inside 10 minutes for sure. And I was on course so late by 15 minutes. All gone.

Typically about 10 putters. Not at the level of Scotty crazies yet, but a lot of guys are buying them within 2 minutes or so. If you’re not logged into the site before hand and ready to go, likely you won’t get one

 

If you want one, without paying for custom, you could probably email Leonard Sales or Biv and have them send you some pics of what they have in the hive for purchase right now in the head you’re looking for...

Needs some TLC. Already removed most of the rust and polished it nicely. Probably will send it in for full restoration. Just a good example of someone’s craft and art work

I went to the hive release thinking to get a watermelon cover or ball mark.. but they were all gone by the time I added them to cart. So I browsed the putters.. had my eyes on this BB8.. Usually by the time I am done browsing and drooling, every one is sold already. It really saved me trouble of having to think if I should or could get one. This time the BB8 I liked was still available, and it appeared that there was another new one added after the initial release. So two were still available after almost 15 min, which was like a miracle. After a little bit of resisting, I closed my eyes and ordered the BB8.. I don't know why this BB8 was left behind, but it certainly isn't ugly in my eye! LOL in fact, it is the perfect match of everything I want, all the way down to paint fill and color scheme.

No doubt my bank account is gonna take a hit but it was well worth it. I just hope this Hive sting won't turn into an epidemic.

Didn't buy this cause it was a righty and I'm a lefty but found a Bettinardi Doomsday in a shop today. Colors are interesting to say the least but man that face felt nice when putting. Price was nice too for a Hive putter.

Some great looking sticks in here! Recently whittled down the collection from 5 down to 3. Tried out armlock for awhile and just couldn’t adjust to it. Currently gaming the iNOVAi prototype, its a excellent at covering up my flaws. Next is the Tour blade, it is fun to practice with as the margin of error is small. Last is a Mizuno/Bettinardi BB1 Flow neck Proto, it’s a fantastic in between, as far as forgiveness goes.

Mizuno Bettinardi C-03! I call it the Silver surfer! I've had this putter for 11 years now and I can't seem to bring myself to get a different one! Just feels too good!!
