FYI - AZ Hacker Arriving

I'm no big deal

So I found this gem of a forum through posting on another (17,000 posts on a MMA forum get's old after while).

My name is Matt and I am in Goodyear AZ. I have lived here most my life except for the time in the military and I have attempted golf for over 10 years now. When I was in high school I played varsity golf and they gave us the opportunity to caddy at the Phoenix open ( year 2001) and I was dying to do the celebrity day and get someone cool like Barkley or Alice Cooper. My day was ruined when I was told I had to do another day, and the golfer I picked was Mark ... had no clue who he was, had a long last name but I was up for the experience. Well just my luck I saw my first hole in one that day when Mark Calcavecchia pretty much smoked all that was man. That has motivated me to stay in the game and enjoy it ever since and I am a die hard golf player and fan. I was a lot better than I am now in high school due to a major car wreck and never getting fixed right (VA hospitals FTL) and recently my best score was a 89. I would like to meet some guys here in AZ to play golf with because I'm usually stuck with my hacker dad who should be teeing off from the red. I like reading through the forums in this section and I would like to get in on a meetup / tourney if possible even though I'm shooting for a last place accomplishment. In my bag... Ping Eye 2 yellow dot +1/2 inch with zzlite Stiff steel shafts, TM Burner superfast 9.5 boomtacular driver, and some adams FW woods, and a ping putter. I love the eye 2's and will not rid them until I can break a 15 handicap.Thanks for reading my mini golf bio and I look forward to many more shared posts with you on here. Also if you have any old golf balls you want to send out to the troops keep them stashed and when I gather up enough funds for my non profit org. Welcome, I know a few members are out west, it shouldnt be too hard to get a game going! Just shoot any of us a PM, or look in the "anybody playing this weekend" thread, we (I) usually post up when I'm playing, but I tend to stick to the tempe mesa area.


Also, I've got about 100-150 golf balls I would gladly donate!

Yeah this whole shindig I started about 7 days ago and raised a little over 100 bills so I'm going to be sending out like 15 packages once I gather up some more golf balls and addresses.

I will get there because I'm pretty devoted once I put my time in on something, and also some LPGA stars are already giving me some shout outs yum


once it cools down I want to live on the course, as of now meh I'm a weekend golfer

Also I have some 5 - 2 day passes to the DC street League this weekend as soon as I get them in the mail they will be up for grabs if anyone wants to trade for some used golf balls to send out to the troops or a small donation ( 20 used golf balls?)

they are valued at 80 a piece and good for both days next weekend for Rob Drydyk's DC Street League (skateboarding).

I'm trying to use all my network to answer the needs of the deployed soldiers, through various donation methods one being my own.

Nothing goes into my pocket at all I even bought these myself ( at a discount rate) So if you have a kid that might like to go see this next weekend let me know.

2. what an awesome course for 25 bucks

3. I need to learn how to sink putts better nothing like being on in 1-2-3 on par 3-4-5 and then being a sloppy mess with my new putter and letting my dad kick my a** score wise
