any day works for me at dove mountain, and I have a buddy who would also like to go.

For a Prescott Trip, I would prefer to go up on friday, play stoneridge in the afternoon, have a few on whiskey row, then play 36 on Sat at antelope hills.

Thought you hated Stoneridge?!!

With any OB sports pass or Wekopa pass you can play Talking Rock

I thought it was quirky haha, I'd def play it again though, I'd just know when to lay up, and when to try and fly it 310 haha.

I've got an OB pass, talking rock is $75. Worth it?

Been a year since I went, but yes as long as they are not bankrupt like all the other privates. Shame Hassayampa is not doing public.

Mark,
Played with John Martin yesterday in a PING event... He remembers you well. He related that Buffy is doing well out at Cave Creek.

Iirc they closed it to do some renovation to the greens to remove some of the severe slopes nicklaus built into them. They were the biggest gripe from the pros

Count me in for a Dove Mountain trip. I can also see if I can get us a Ventana Canyon day sometime as well, maybe Torres Blancas or somewhere else.

Let's get a date set up for either Tucson or Prescott! Classes start back Aug 22nd, not saying it has to be before then but in order for me to go(which I would like to), it needs to be before school starts back up again. :russian_roulette:

I'm down for whenever guys. Plus if any of you happen to find your way out here to Tucson anytime let me know and we will get together. I have a lot of hookups around the city at some courses.

Hey Matt how those Callways irons? I know the game is still tight...Sam

Sam the irons are still great, I think it is time for a new shaft for the driver. I am not able to swing as hard as I used to so I think I would be able to regain some distance by going back to a stiff flex. BTW wait till you see the new putter its going to be sweet
Ill be out of town the weekend of 08/12/11 to 08/15/11 if you guys do a sunday or monday road trip down to Dove Mountain any other weekend I would be interested in going

F the pros. The greens are the most fun part. The rest of the course is just repeated kicks to the nuts.

What putter are you doing? I got a smoking deal on a C&L and sent it off to get redone in Mystic Pearl....figure you will like that!

Let me know about the shaft...I bought some extra Talamontis...I have the X...but it plays more like a stiff. Or you could get one of the redesigned ones.

I have a matte black dh89 being made by byron morgan. Hand milled with deep milling plus my normal flow neck. Can't wait to see it finished. That mystic sounds sweet to. Re the shaft I really like my devotion so most likely I will pick up another one in stiff.
