I am mostly a weekend golfer, occasionally during week, but later in day while daylight is good. Pretty much a 80ish player right now. Working on playing more consistent, ha, aren't we all?.

Hey guys. To update, I'm playing at 5-12 over par on my home course and looking for similar skilled games but would play anyone without the shanks. lol But if you can challenge me to step up my game, great or vice versa. Pine Lakes is my "home course".

I cannot believe there are not more East Tennesseeans that golf here. There has to be more of us here...

Well, by the looks of the weather, my next round of golf could be a ways off. Anyone here a member at Fairways and greens?

Also, a question for you folks familiar with Knoxville golf courses: what is the best draining course in the area? In other words, what is the best course to play in the winter?

I don't know if this is a bit too far for you, but Graysburg Hills in Chuckey, TN is very nice. It's just off I-81.

Alright folks. It is supposed to be 65 degrees on Tuesday (Jan. 29, 2013)...that's right, nearly 70 degrees in January. I have to be in Sevierville in the morning for work, but I am taking the afternoon off to get 18 in. I will probably play River Island. Anyone is welcome to join. PM me if interested.
