New PING Milled Putter Line Drops - Discuss and show urs off too!

Got my NEW PING ANSER Milled #6 TODAY!!!!

alright guys, the PING milled Anser line SO FAR, has lived up to the hype
got mine a day early today and chose the number 6
i had thought i was going to be gaming the "0" or the "3", but in the end the "6" won the battle

strong arc (lots of toe hang), 34" and so far standard specs for lie and loft
i have been gaming the Scotty Del Mar for this year, tried to kick it out and just couldnt until now
i have only had a 30 min session in the store and about another hour and a half on the putting surface and the Scotty will be up for sale in a couple hours
i am that CONFIDENT in this putter, that i will be Scotty-less by the end of the weekend
anyone coming from a Del MAr or any type of heel shafted putter, will LOVE the 6 - trust me, it feels very similar

the face is so soft, but yet has a nice firm crisp when you roll the ball
the head weight at 345 works, it just plain does
the grip...wow, tacky as al hell but the firmness of the cord...again, it just works!!!

i have a tournament this weekend and will only have one round under my belt with it, but its going in the bag essentially "blind"

this line will compete ALL DAY with any boutique line out there and beat it out - HANDS DOWN
PING has a winner here folks

only con - the finish might not hold up over time, as i already put some slight marks on the sole when i put it in the bag, it hit my 5i and now has a very small surface scratch
ah well, a gamed putter should look...well, gamed! LOL!

yea man super soft, but not "mushy" soft
there is a nice crisp feeling too, and im using a TM LDP Black ball
my Del Mar almost feels dead compared, really a different feeling

really, really liking this thing so far
hopefully it stands up in game time situations....but i know it will

yes, they are straight across the face - pretty much the whole way up...I just got a sneak peak and they look awesome - and I second the grip - man it feels great, super soft and tacky!

Not sure about that. Where did SC get the Newport design from? The anser is Ping...

the 4 has slightly more shaft offset (not much) and a little longer neck

Just picked up an Anser 4. I loved the way the 6 set up, though I was rolling it so much better with the 4. It is definitely a beautiful putter.

Also grabbed an iPing cradle. Just started playing with it - pretty cool.

The Anser is bit softer. That is the putter that the Anser is kicking out of my bag.
