I am putting red in the numbers of my Titleist 680's...Nothing special. I am trying to figure out something else to paint fill.

This isn't TOO pimped, but here's my customized Cameron putter:

 

I sent a ProPlatinum MidSlant Newport Two for refinishing. The entire time was about 4 weeks, and you can tell by the picture that it's absolutely FABULOUS! I asked them to substitute blue (instead of white) paintfill, but as you can tell in the picture, they did the Scotty Crown, the horizontal line above the "Pro Platinum" lettering, the two little dots on each side of the "Pro Platinum" lettering, and the "Cameron" on the hosel in blue, and all the other paintfill is standard.

 

In short, it looks fantastic. The milling on the face looks perfect, and the finish was incredible. Mine only had minor dings, but all the dings were smoothed out, and the putter looks perfect. Of course - it came with a new shaft, and the grip & headcover/pivot tool of your choice. (I chose the Studio Design Grip, and a red Studio Stainless headcover).

i was a little bored with my clubs, so this is what i did. the only hard part was getting my wife to go to the store with me to pick up nail polish :vava:

 

irons started out as chrome kzg zo's with no paintfill, and wedges were standard callaway forged chrome with black paintfill. a couple days later, this is what i had...

all it took was about $10 for some nail polish and some sandpaper/scotchbrite pads, and i had my very own "custom" paintfilled, satin clubs

Those Pings look sweet :vava: . You should try painting the numbers as well.

I used nail polish on mine, and it worked pretty well. Acrylic paint should work fine as well.

Just paint over the entire surface of what you want filled, let it dry then rub off the paint or polish off of the surrounding area. The paint should stay in the numbers or lettering that you want filled.

As soon as I get the pictures of my irons I will post them on here. I have finished the paint fill.

 

I painted the "Titleist" "Forged" and "680" last night. It looks pretty good. I was going to do Orange and Blue (Florida Gators fan) but the orange wouldn't stay on very good so I couldn't do that. You will see what color I chose :vava:

It is already posted earlier in the thread. But get some nail polish or acrylic paint and paint over the entire area the you want painted, let it dry, then take nail polish remover and whipe off any paint around the lettering or numbers that you wanted painted.

Looks pretty good, but I think on the wedge, you didn't let it dry for long enough and a little bit came out of the 3 lines beside BV. You will get better as you keep doing it.

golfman65: How did you polish your i3+s? Those look sweet. What do the faces look like? I've been waiting for Ping to get away from that dull not even satin G2 finish. Give the new i5's a little buff and you have some sweet, sweet sticks.

I used acrylic model paint. I slammed it all over the letters -- it didn't look good when it dried. Then I took Goo-Gone and a rag and rubbed over the top to clear it all up.

let the stuff dry for a few hours and then go over it with remover. I actually used a paintfill bottle from golfworks.com. only $2.25. if you start wipping while it is drying - it will simply go everywhere :vava: ;) (cool) .

I paintfilled my Vokey 52° Black Nickel wedge(has finish removed), and my old Ping Anser 3 with some Canadian colors. Sorta like the way it turned out too.

I finally tried this over the weekend. Damn that was simple!! I remember seeing Hillary Lunke's clubs in Golf Digest and thinking how cool it was that Ping custom painted her Pings with the Stanford colors. I can't believe how simple it is to do this. I'll post pictures of my work on here later.

 

I used Testors model paint because it's cheap (99 cents at Hobby Lobby). Use toothpicks (or that paintfill bottle from golfworks.com) and fill in the areas you want to change--make sure the area is clean of course). Once it's dry you can do two things. You can use some Q-tips and paint thinner to remove the excess, which I found to be a bit more difficult than the other option. You can just take a paper towel and spray some Goo B Gone on it and lightly rub over the painted area. This was easier for me because the spray doesn't completely saturate the paper towel and it finished up nice. So go out and get your stuff and start painting!

This was my first attempt. I have bettter ones but my camera is full and I have to delete some pictures but I have a really nice looking Maxfli Australian Blade that I paint filled and it looks pretty cool but here is a vokey wedge that I did.
