Looked good until.....

This looked very cool at first: Grayhawk, TPC Stadium, Troon North all 2 weeks before the FBR Phoenix Open. 2 rounds of Bestball and 2 round of Combined score. Net and Gross.

Then I saw the price: $1790

That's pretty pricey... Even if you counted all 3 rounds at the price they are offering for the practice rounds($125, $125, $150)...that's $400/player....$800/team.

SO that means $990 more per team: They do have a reception, forecaddie one day, gift package and awards ceremony. It only says "Top 3 teams in each division take home the trophies." Nothing about prizes!

I don't know about you...but to me the math does not add up? That is a lot of extra dough?!

True, it's expensive, but no one said you had to play the practice rounds.

It's pricey, but I have a feeling you'll get a lot of swag out of it and the courses will be in prime condition. Wish I had the funds to play in it.

Also, I think they're looking for rich out-of-towners, not just local guys looking for an event to play.
