Stevens Park reopens on October 11!!

Can't wait to see it. The rates have gone up, but it should be worth it. Only slightly more than 6,000 yards, but with placemat sized greens and some strategic doglegs and water, this course can get you.

This is the track where Lee Trevino got his game ready for the US Open. Check out his appearence on the Feherty show and you'll hear him mention it.

I have a 7AM T-time tomorrow morning and cannot wait.....its the first course I played growing up and one of my favorites still.

Because it was always so short my buddies and I always had some fun games out there, like playing with only 5 clubs or no woods...always a fun course!!! I really loved all the odd holes they had, I'm hoping it still has some character!!!

The course was in ok shape, I really like the layout but I don't think they are ready to be open. They have not gotten any tee markers, yardage markers or skycaddie numbers yet....you are basically playing blind. The bunkers are nice with good sand but they are to soft and all balls are fried eggs. No drinking water and no beverage cart is kind of bad as well. Also the new grass is a little iffy in places, basically has not really got hold yet and is very soft.

Love the old school square greens and the new holes are great, just needs more time to mature, will be playing again soon and will see if its any better.

I would give them more time to adjust to the "new" going on right now, but you really need to check it out!!

Echo all reviews. Great layout. The bunkers are too soft but the mix of holes are tremendous. And there is a couple of manly tee shots from the black tees (tips), 9 and 15....225-240 carry and the width of a soda straw. Had a great time.

Thanks for the reviews..I've been tempted to get out there but looks like I will wait a bit.
