big names on top...

With all this talk about the Frys.com Open, and mainly just Tiger I thought it should be noted that some big names are playing elsewhere right now in the world...

In Korea right now, for their national open Rickie Fowler tops the leader board at -6 thru 4 holes in his 2nd round. right behind him are Rory McIlroy and Y.E. Yang at -5 having completed play in the 2nd round. I havent heard of many of the names in the field of 132, other than Seung-Yul Noh but its good to see some of the games stars trying to grow the game in countries other than their own (i know they were paid, but still lol). Would be a fun round to watch tomorrow but of course there isnt any TV coverage... I guess the course is pretty narrow and playing relatively tough, only 13 players are under par so far...

i would love to see him get his first win but Rory isnt going to make it easy for him

I wish they would show this. Looking like it's going to shape up to be a great finish. I like Rory too, obviously I would like to see Rickie win, but if Rory beats him I won't be too upset. Just hope the kid can hold it together on Sunday this time (talking about Rickie)

he leads defending champion y.e.yang by at least 4 and rory by 11!

...i really hope he wins tomorrow!!

Come on Rickie! What a round out there. Tied the record at 63 and takes a 5 or 6 stroke lead into the final round. If he can just shoot par he's probably going to win.

Got to watch some of this tournament on ESPN Asia.
Fowler on the 243 yard par 3 16th hit his tee shot left of the green on the side of a hill. He had maybe 10' down hill to the green and 10' of green that ran away from him. His little chip landed perfect on the fringe and just made it to the green. As it rolled onto the green it started gaining speed heading to the hole. Bang into the flag and into the hole. Would have been at least 10' past the hole.
We'll see if he can get over the Sunday blues.

Sorry for not being able to watch the event, and going by what I was hearing on Twitter. Let me say it again. I hope with his 4 STROKE LEAD he can pull out a W. Slightly restated, but did I get it right this time?

You're not kidding about laughable. I swear the guy in 3rd place just last week served my wife and I a killer bowl of Kimchi Chigae. He did mention something to the effect that he was playing down to a 3 and would give the One Asia tour a go. Looks like he was sandbagging.
