they are both great, but I think rory is better at this point. Some take longer to come into their own, and Rory does have a lot more professional experience. I hope they can be a great rivalry for golf for the next few years.. rick has some wins to get to start that rivalry though.

This is a nice little development for Rickie, although I kind of feel that any celebration has to be tempered with the knowledge of how weak the field is.

You can tell an awful lot by the scoring distribution. By the time you get to 15th place the guys are +5. The field is clearly dominated by players who couldn't keep a Nationwide TOUR card.

But, as they say, a win's a win, and Rickie's self confidence should be bolstered somewhat. You have to think he'll be a tad spent by the time he arrives at Sea Island.

Actually believe this will help him perform stateside more, he now has a win away from the spotlight on a more "low key" tour, probably got him some new fans as well. The pressure will be less for Rickie now to bring some tourneys home in the US.
