First pro win and you can't turn that hat around? I was hoping that would go along with the winless streak. I know it has been discussed before but it just drives me mad. A sport coat and a backwards cap, really? I know he means no disrespect, but I feel it is. That being said, great win Ricky!

i posted earlier and congratulated ricky after he finished -16 with a 68(bogeyed last 2 holes!!) and rory second 6 strokes back with a 64 last day but i don't see the post any more....

These kids are truly the next generation and I hope both of them have great career with healthy rivalry similar to jack and tom, etc.

wasn't Lee world #1 at that time? we expect world #1 to win majors. fowler is still working his way up. big diff.

Yep, but as someone said before Westwood was #1 and shouldve played in stronger tournaments to prove that he desereved that spot over Kaymer who has a major. Fowler is in his twenties and is trying to build experience. Fowler had to get this win to get everyone off of his back about not winning when he shouldve and he did that. And about him losing the lead in previous tournaments, Tom Watson didn't close out wins early in his career(his words when he was on Feherty) but once he learned how he had a heck of a career.

No difference whatsoever. Westwood has always played in asian events at that time of the year. Whether hes #1 in the world or #30 thats the difference between a global player and a pga tour player. Wherever Westwood choses to play a win is a win. People cant slag westwood of for winning an asian tour event and then praise fowler for winning in asia. A wins a win.
