What brand of tees do you use?

I use Club Champ Pro-Strength 2 3/4 length 100% solid hardwood tees for my driver and 2 1/8 length tees for my irons. They are natural wood with no color so that they don't mark my equipment.

What ever comes out of the bag there are so many in there I really don't know. I grab a hand full every time a course has them out.

just the cheap yellow and white Pride tees

cheap 10 AUD for 120 or so...they do the job... i personally don't see the need for anything fancier but that's just my take!

i use golf pride wooden 3 1/4 tees as well as some 2 3/4 tees. just bought myself some brushts to try out though.

I get mine on the net in bulk (500-1000), pretty much the same stuff as those Pride ones but without the colour rings on them

do you go for the Eels?

Eco tees. They last forever. I still have a supply of them from when my club used to give them out for free about 5 years ago. Haven't had to buy any new tees since.

On par 3's I always just pick up a broken tee off the tee box.

search 'wooden golf tees' on ebay there are heaps to choose from, the first time I did it I got a box of 500 and it lasted me for ages. You can get them shipped for less than $20

If you're used to the Pride ones, the yellow is roughly 7cm

I am also a zero friction guy - they do last longer, but if I see an intact wood one on the tee box I always pick it up! I have a little bag of 1/2 to 1/3 size zero restriction ones I use for par 3s

You know, I'm starting to wonder now if people don't deliberately leave perfectly good tees on the tee box to 'pay it forward'. Should I just use them and leave them there for the next guy too?

Last week I played a round behind a couple, the guy had white tees and the woman had red ones, and I kid you not, they each left a perfect tee on every tee box including the par 3s, so I picked up 36 tees. I feel so dirty.

The free ones in the basket in the pro shop... I've given other tees a try (got some samples of zero friction and have found some other ones)... gimmick.. If tees werent free, than maybe I would consider buying them for the sole fact that they are plastic and hopefully wont break on every other tee shot. I think I go through 6-8 wood tees a round.

I don't play that often, but I've only lost one Zero Friction tee in 2 years because it flew off somewhere and I couldn't find it. I've broken a few of the Epoch 1 1/2" tees, but most of the time I'll just use broken wooden tees that are lying around on the tee box for iron shots.

I personally don't have any preference for tees other than I only buy the natural (non-painted) ones. Tends to keep the soles free of paint marks.

Usually the free-ones from my club that rarely break....do have a bunch of Pride Professional 3 1/4 Tees for when I'm playing away and the ground is a little to hard to get the usual ones in the ground without them bending.
