Been a while since Badger State had a big boy beer on tap.....Whiskey Business dropped in three varieties:

 

Standard - Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Sout

Chocolate Pecan Pie

Choclate Orange Vanilla

I'm now limited to Gluten free beers. However I found this one that is very tasty.  And I do love IPAs.

Been trying the new breweries around AZ.

 

Found this little gem last weekend.  Some of their other beers were just ok.  This one was pretty good.

 

Also, TCBC out near Wigwam is brewing some good stuff.

You all in Michigan and Ohio are lucky you get great distribution from both Great Lakes and Bell's!

 

My favorite staple beer is Bell's Two Hearted. 

Great Lakes brews my all time favorite seasonal:  Christmas Ale. 

(Ten years ago, when I lived in Wisconsin, the Christmas Ale was selling for $12 a six pack and it still sold out everywhere.)

Did a 3 day, 6 round UP trip which was so much fun.  The beer highlights were from the store.  Upper Hand - Sisu Stout....a nice barrel aged stout; and Odd Side Ales - Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Mayan Mocha.....oh is it good!

Michigan is an amazing beer state, both from the perspective of our own breweries as well as other stuff around the country that gets distributed here.

My wife and I recently moved from Fort Collins, CO to northeast Florida (between St. Augustine and Daytona Beach.  Unfortunately I found out about a year and a half ago that I have Celiac’s Disease and now can only drink gluten free beers.  No worries, I could find a great IPA from Ghostfish Breweries pretty much at any liquor store in Fort Collins.  Unfortunately here is Florida finding gluten free beer is almost impossible.  Worst is the ignorance of most people here have about Celiac’s disease.  I did find some at a huge mega liquor store in Jacksonville but the selection is very limited.  I really miss the Rocky Mountain and west coast regions because the level and quality of beer seems to be superior and abundant.

Any Kansas Citians or Boulevard fans? Did a photoshoot at the brewery today. Grabbed some cool shots, the smokestack being a staple in the KC skyline and on tons of printed publications.

I lived in KC from 1994-2002. Boulevard was my 8th grade baseball sponsor and Boulevard wheat was the first craft beer I ever tried in college.

 

Still a big fan of the smokestack series and Tank 7.

Mountain Layers Brewing, Bryson City, NC. Great little spot, and good beer. Was short on time, so only did a flight of 3 beers. Elk Watch Stout, Chocolate Cherry Porter , and Dragon Tamer IPA.

Good to know. We're going to Bryson City for spring break this year. Went to Gatlinburg last year and all the crowds and traffic were annoying so I'm trying for something more low-key. Doesn't hurt that Sequoyah Nat'l is only 15 min away.

I have found living in northeast Florida to have many terrific things about it but finding Gluten Free beer definitely is not one of them.  Unfortunately Ghostfish Brewery does not ship to Florida nor do they have distribution set up.  At least not yet.  Fortunately I am in the Seattle area on business this week and will bringing me home a small stash of my favorite beer.  🙂
