I totally agree with you. That's the way a lof of the Tour used to be back in the 30's and 40's. It'd be cool to have another match play event somewhere. I havent' heard of any on the drawing board right now though ;([quote name='Eck42' timestamp='1326249471' post='4061731']
Hi Kevin, thanks again for taking the time to chat.

One of my favorite events to watch each year is the WGC Match Play. Is it possible the PGA Tour will add another match play event or is that something that will not happen?

Good luck this season! And the commercials are great!

Give it your best each and every day. That's ALL you can ever ask of yourself. Work harder than everyone else on the team, know you've worked harder, and then just go out, have fun and let it happen. that is all you can ask of yourself

Hey Kevin
I am going to try and make my high school golf team this year. Do you have any mental advice or drills that will help me get better in order to make the team.

Seriously!!

Kevin,

Thanks for taking time to chat with us. What would you say the biggest difference in your week to week tournament experiences are from just getting started on Tour, to becoming a more established player with some mainstream recognition? More swag and autograph requests? More annoying guys quoting a certain tag line? Etc?

mostly knowing the courses. the longer your out on tour, the less time you need to spend preparing for the week. that and also where to stay, where to eat, ect... this year i plan on making the weeks as short as possible. get in tuesday and hopefully leave LATE on sundays![quote name='Hambone1' timestamp='1326249847' post='4061797']

i have worked extremely hard in the gym this offseason. i have gotten much more flexible and stronger in the hips, glutes and quads. i have messed with a bunch of drivers and have settled on the ping g 20 to start the year. my wedges, irons, 3 wood and hybrid are all good![quote name='Chew70' timestamp='1326246859' post='4061237']

Thanks for taking the time to chat with Golf Wrx. Best wishes this season. I'm sure there will be many of us cheering for you.

i do a lot of lower body work. squats, hamstring curls, single leg squats, etc... spend a lot of time on a foam roller, those are awesome. The TRX is killer. A lot of push ups, sit ups, abs and oblique work. I probably do 4, 2 hour sessions a week[quote name='N2N2' timestamp='1326250104' post='4061859']

Totally forgot to ask. What are the specs of your new G20, face angle, loft, weight, shaft, tipping, spined, wraps under grip, etc? Also, is it an off the shelf Prov1x or one of the "modified" versions the reps refuse to give out? lol

Best moment as a pro? Or maybe the moment where you said to yourself...yea I can do this!

Love the commercial - you almost look mad! LOL

Some flavor of the month driver.
Some driving iron for Links courses.

A hybrid to save my bad shots.
Titleist blades when I feel lucky otherwise something more forgiving.
A Vokey wedge or 2.
I hate every one of my 17 putters.

Kevin,

Thanks for doing this, very cool way to reach out to the fans.

Two questions:

1. I am sure you never bet money in practice rounds ;), but you guys must play for some sort of "credits" what is the most you have won/lost

2. Silly question, but since joining the tour, have you ever played in some of your home clubs member event? to PGA Tour pros ever do this?

    • In-hand photos of 2023 TaylorMade Stealth 2 Plus, Stealth 2, Stealth 2 HD drivers + fairways woods
Check out our front page launch stories here and here.

What you need to know: For the first time, carbon is the most prevalent material by volume in a TaylorMade driver, and more carbon equals better performance, says the company. Last year, TaylorMade debuted a 60X Carbon Twist Face. With TaylorMade Stealth 2, engineers are bringing carbon to more of the golf club — and unveiling a new-and-improved Carbon Twist Face in the process. Stealth 2 Plus (low spin, most workable) Stealth 2, and Stealth 2 HD (draw bias, high launch, most forgiving) drivers make up the Stealth 2 family.

      Stealth 2 Plus

      Stealth 2 HD

What you need to know: Breakthrough movable weight technologies and versatile designs are the hallmarks of the 2023 TaylorMade Stealth 2 fairway woods. Stealth 2 Plus is branded as “three fairway woods in one” owing to the unique performance characteristics afforded by the 50-gram sole weight. Stealth 2 features a slightly lower profile 3D carbon crown than Stealth. This moves CG down and away from the toe with more weight in the rear of the club for higher launch and MOI. Ultra-high MOI Stealth 2 HD features an oversized 200cc head and low-profile sole, creating an easy-to-hit, draw-biased club.
